phoenix he said he is Turkish Cypriot so he might be originally from Kerynia so whats your problem with teaching English? Is not like he wants to sell GC properties or anything. Should every Cypriot leave from the occupied areas so Turkish settlers can take everything? :?

Thanks mem101,
good answer is not argue with them .We are ready to help u .
This is only education .

. . . . and I know you are in dire need of it, but once you remove the Turkish Army and allow us to re-instate the Island, then we would be happy to help with requests for jobs in KYRENIA.

But Sotos, what if he teaches to those people that have sold / bought properties there?

Besides anyone residing there is partaking of the illegal occupation unless they are activley revolting!

It is preferable to help Turkish Cypriots get jobs in the north than fill the place with settlers. Whether the regime is illegal or not the person is a Cypriot and the place is still Cyprus. The slogan should be Employ Cypriots, freeze settlers.

A very honourable stand Nikitas . . . and very typical of the good nature of helpful Cypriots in general. :D

However, ethically I have a dilemma with the concept of anyone enjoying a "normal way of life" in the illegally occupied section. It's as though the desire to re-unify the island is a part-time hobby that can be put on hold . . .

Unfortunatly the settlers are preffered over the TCs.

Turkish Cypriots dont come cheap, whereas with the settlers, you buy one get one free!
