School Term Dates in Cyprus . . . please!

Postby phoenix » Sun Oct 28, 2007 4:20 pm

Does anyone know the Junior School Term dates for the scholastic year from January 2008 ?

Start and End dates, half term breaks, Easter etc.

Also, what time does the school day actually start and end ?

Presumably these are the same throughout the Country (ignoring what Turks / TCs are doing! ) otherwise specific for the Paphos region would be great, thanks. :D

Show me one person that doesn't know that Cyprus is divided and that the south is occupied by the GCs under the administration of the RoC and the north is occupied by TCs and administered by the TRNC.

Well clearly YOU for a start, are unaware that Cyprus is NOT divided, but is under illegal occupation with Turkey preventing the government of the RoC from carrying out its full duties. Only in your feeble mind does a "TRNC" exist anywhere!

I'll thank you to keep your opinions in Newington Green, given you clearly do not have a clue about answering the question . . . which requires dissemination of precise dates . . . a concept you Turks have a problem grasping! :)

GR's wife: In 1992 the 5-day p/week schooling replaced the old 6-day p/week and that's when all other changes took effect including the above.
