New Deadline?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

New Deadline?

Postby paaul12 » Sun Oct 28, 2007 11:30 am

The clock is ticking

Nothing could be further from the truth and it should come as no surprise if some other of our EU partners follow the example of Britain and Germany, which is a way of putting pressure on the Greek Cypriot side to engage in substantive negotiations that would produce a settlement by the end of 2008 – this is the new deadline which seems to have been set by the international community. If we agree a settlement by then, nobody would have to worry about the provisions of the strategic partnership. But if there is no settlement by then – irrespective of who is to blame – the upgrading of the pseudo-state and path towards partition would be irreversible.

The worst of all in this situation is what there is not even one in a billion to have a solution until the end of 2008 who ever is your president and what even you will be ready to accept and this action is another one punching against your government stupidity and not so much from UK that they have ancient reasons to punch you but also from your considered ally in your accession process Germany.

Like I see it if you reelect this government is like a suicide and there is no wonder why Greece force Christofias to run for the president elections.

This article sheds a little more light on the political games being played. The "TRNC" is due no more recognition than it has ever had!

http://my.telegraph.co.uk/john_akritas/ ... rt_two.htm

Jim Murphy, Minister for Europe . . . regarding the Turkey-UK Strategic Partnership 2007/8 agreement signed in London on Tuesday between prime ministers Gordon Brown and Recep Tayyip Erdogan . . .

Questioned:
"The Strategic Partnership Agreement signed between Turkey and the UK on Tuesday contains references to Britain helping upgrade the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus”, which the UN has declared an illegal secessionist entity. Why has Britain chosen to ignore UN resolutions and its responsibilities to Cyprus under the 1960 Treaty of Establishment and give succour to those who support the island's partition?’

Murphy’s response.....

"...... about the Strategic Partnership Agreement with Turkey… Our policy on the non-recognition of the so-called "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" is unchanged. We do not and will not recognise a separate entity in the Northern part of Cyprus. Nor does anything in the document reflect any attempt to upgrade the status of the North or promote partition. I hope that reassures you."

This is today's paid answer by the British ambassador (High Commissioner) in Cyprus, Peter Millett, to your above garbage talking!

Of course, a significant part of the Structured Dialogue also relates to the Cyprus problem. Here too, we have continued the dialogue and visits in both directions. The appointment of Joan Ryan as the Prime Minister’s Special Representative to Cyprus and her visit earlier in October, demonstrate that commitment.

Our dialogue with the government also includes ways to ensure that Turkey implements its obligations to the EU as a candidate country and covers issues relating to the economic integration of the island and the creation of trust between the two communities.

Our relationship with the government is a formal bilateral relationship with a fellow EU partner. Our contacts with the Turkish Cypriot community are important but informal; we do not and will not recognise the “TRNC”.

The UK is a strong supporter of the July 8 agreement. That text sets out five important principles, which make up the essential elements for any future process. This process is a means to achieve what we want; dialogue, negotiation and agreement. The sooner the better. We hope that the UN will continue its efforts to bring the communities together. The UK will continue to work in collaboration with the P5 and European Union towards that objective.

to upgrade the status of the North or promote partition

This as you can understand comes with the package, of course there will not be full recognition but if they will continue upgrading their status the recognition will come sooner or later and there is no wonder why Kasoulides suggesting to Papadopoulos to make hara-kiri like he should do a long time ago.

Greece of course prefers Kasoulides like everyone in Europe, but the main thing is what our politicians want to stoop your humiliation from Papadopoulos.

Of course the garbage that your pathetic ridiculous government feeding you can’t in any way compared with what we are eating.

And even a completely idiot can understand what I said.

Of course Greek government (and PASOK) does not prefer Christofias from Kasoulidis.

But is easy to understand what the Greek government can’t stand this bullshits any more from the fact that we choose for our foreign minister Dora Bakoyiani where because of your tremendous stupidly you are still attacking her father with bullshits because of the truths that he said for your pathetic president.
