Projector ceiling mounts?

Postby raiseurfist » Sun Oct 28, 2007 10:22 am

Hi guys,
I got a projector recently and I want to attach it to my ceiling. Does anyone know of any shops that sell ceiling mounts for projectors, preferably in Larnaca?

I dont know about Larnaca but you can get ceiling mounts from MP Sat in Nicosia.
I dont have their phone number but you can look them up on directory inquiries..they are listed as Malloupas & Papacostas Trading Co..

If anyone will have them in Larnaca, Christovalandis will. His shop is called Chr.Drosides in the Prodromos side of town.

Coming from the port in Larnaca, go past Carrefour which should be on your left. Next set of lights, turn left and his shop will be around 800m on the left hand side. Its a triple sized satellite shop with some dishes on the outside. In fact, most components, either he will have or he can get hold of.

I've seen a few in Limassol. My street (Bodyline crossroads and go right when coming from KFC/M&S road) has 2 places for instance. One of them even has 2 purpose built projector rooms. I know they have ceiling mounts because I wanted to check if they had anything better for an apartment before using the one I already had. Now I have more room I'm deeply considering an electric screen thats a fair bit bigger than my current 104" one. :)

Cheers

Tried to edit my post, but wasn't allowed to, so I'll just add it on here.

Its actually closer to 1.5km than the 800m I said. I drove past it tonight. Their phone number is 70004747 if you wanted to call them first to make sure.

Every Home Theater shop should have at least one model. If you don't find one in Larnaca in Limassol there are several. Just be sure to get a good one that can adjust easily because every millimeter matters when you are trying to get it perfectly aligned.
