END THE CYPRUS OCCUPATION: Senator Robert Menedez

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Daemon » Thu Nov 01, 2007 11:25 pm

There were guarantees of how this could work and the donations was covering a much bigger percentage of what you can think of. And count the oils (if there is any) and count the arms and count a brand new market in the north that could cover the need and also the illegal owners of property in the north that they don’t have property with the same value to south they had to pay the value of that property to keep it in the central government and neither this or any other provision on this issue was depended by the TC’s will.

The compensations of the properties were for the 35%-40% of the properties because a 60%-65% was about to return.

And this is can’t be an excuse on why you said no in any case.

I remember quite well about the donations. They covered very little. Turkey would pay nothing, other foreigners would pay some small amount, TCs would not have money to pay anything. We would just compensate ourselves!

And this is can’t be an excuse on why you said no in any case.

Why? I was the victim of the invasion. The solution of the Cyprus problem should be that Turkish occupation ends and we go to our homes. With AP I would not go back to my home and I would not get any compensation from Turkey or TCs. I was the victim but the AP didn't solve my problems. It just renamed the "TRNC" as "TC component state" and made it legal!!!

The donations was much enough and was going to be even better from Europe support packages.

And this is simply bullshits, you can’t say what you didn’t accept to fought for your country because
you were going to loose money and is even worst when this is not even truth while you had a united
economy with the TC’s and while you could sell the guns and get benefit from the oils where now you can’t.

By the donations the guns and the money from the illegal owner the Cyprus main government (with united economy) would have to pay a 10-20% of the properties, if you could not do that and it was better to fraud Europe that was ready to help you to everything needed maybe you deserve an economy collapse na deis tin glika.

in the north that they had to pay for and from the Cyprus main government that could
have millions (billions to be accurate) of donations from Europe and not only
(and this is well known) and from the main government where of course the
biggest part from this was from the GC’s that were not isolated for 40+ years but
in the end the GC’s were not going to compensate more than the 30% and where the cost
were divided between the two cooperated and united communities that had the same
economic interests against Turkey and Greece and against anyone.

Can you translate the above bullshit ??

Words are cheap...Coming from the mouth of American politicians makes them even cheaper...The truth of the matter is,like every other nation,USA is only motivated by selfinterest. I disticly remember Erdogan saying something like "If America offically asked us to leave Cyprus,we will have no option but to comply like sheep!!!!"It is just not in America's interest that Turkey leaves Cyprus. The rest is bullshit.

I have just spend a week visiting every part of the ROC...I saw nothing to indicate the necessity to keep 40,000 Turkish troops on the island. What I saw is a nation getting on with her life, putting the pain of the tragic past behind them and forging ahead with confidence...If there was any will or preparation to massacre all TCs as soon as the Turkish troops leave,it was well covered...That possibility today only lives in the scared minds of certain individuals who ,for their own reasons, cannot afford to let it go...

The compensations was about to come from the people that have illegal property

The people that have illegal property at the north and have no property at the south
to exchange it with had to pay the value to keep that property

the Cyprus main government that could
have millions (billions to be accurate) of donations from Europe and not only
(and this is well known)

from Donations

and from the main government where of course the
biggest part from this was from the GC’s that were not isolated for 40+ years but
in the end the GC’s were not going to compensate more than the 30% and where the cost

The compensations was coming from the main government and the biggest weight
from the start had to be lifted by the GC”s because there were not isolated for 40 years
and in the united economy it was calculated what it will take 20 years
for them to reach the GC’s levels in economy. But in the end through the whole
system the TC’s had the same responsibilities in a united economy against foreign interests.

But if we consider this as a business action, let’s say what you sell the guns and
you are able to exploit the oil and you increase rapidly your tourism and invest also in
other industries in the virgin market on north it’s way better from the today situation when you have
all this expenses for the army and where your tourism is decreasing and because of the situation.

Of course the properties that could return was about 60% in the worst case and 65% in the best case and
we are speaking for a 35-40% of the properties that was going to be compensated and of course there was going
to be exchanges with TC’s property in south and there were other parameters also that was solving the property
problem in a satisfying level.

With Annan plan we would sign surrender. The "TRNC" would be renamed "TC component state" and it would be legal. Game over. After we signed surrender how we would fight for anything? Money was the reason for those that voted yes because they thought they would get compensations but we wouldn't even get that! We would compensate ourselves!! Only those that would return in that 7% that the Turks would give back would have some benefits from Annan plan but thats not even sure because we had no guarantees that Turkey would give back that land.

In a united European Cyprus with the TC’s to share the 29% with the 10% of the GC’s have the constituent state
Internal citizenship status and the ability for every GC’s wanted to stay their for ever and challenge the the 1/3
of the internal citizenship status. And this is one truth that Ntektash said before and after the referendum, what
eventually in years the constituent states could exists(or not) virtually for all it’s European citizens.

And of course the big surrender was the signing of Papadopoulos of the shit paper that says
what turkey did everything possible to solve the problem and gave them the green light for their accession.

Money was the reason for those that voted yes because they thought they would get compensations

This is of course is not true while more than 100 000 people was getting back their properties.

but we wouldn't even get that! We would compensate ourselves!!

I’ve already speak for that, you wouldn’t compensate your self’s.

We wouldn't challenge anything. We challenged the 1960 agreements and the Turks started a civil war because of it. It would be Game Over. If you recognize the "TRNC" you can apply to their property commission and they will compensate you or let you live under their rule like the engklovismenous. Annan plan was just a translation of the "TRNC" to "TC component state".
