Oranos64 makes sense.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What you are doing here MR-from-NG, is not even Machiavellian; its playground mentality and not worthy of this forum.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if Oranos has had bad encounters that he wishes to avoid in future then that is his freedom to choose.

Oranos has attacked me and my beliefs many times, but I have no problem with him as a character because he is true to himself and his lifestyle choice. He makes me double check what I hold and that is to be praised. If he attacks TCs/Turks then maybe they should look inside themselves too, and see how they can improve rather then assume they are perfect and above criticism.

His attitude of clean, simple, healthy living should be an example to us all. He is an interesting interlude from the rigidity of the conformists.

His own personal choices that we object to we should leave as his quirks of character and ignore if they do not fit in with our own, or offer him alternatives for his dissemination.

MR-from-NG look inside yourself because you are a bad man . . . on many levels. Stop objecting to peoples views without offering valid arguments against what they have stated.

Are you ever going to make an original thread with something to offer us for discussion other than what we have already read on someone else's thread?

WE are not interested in hearing about your objections to characters when you have NOTHING to offer us yourself. You are coming across as a boring mindless fuddy duddy.

Think what you will of me young lady, it means jack-shit to me. I'm merely bringing such posts to the attention of all members who may have missed it. What oranos says makes perfect sense and is representative for the majority of GCs, bringing this to the attention of all forum members is not such a bad thing.

As for me offering valid arguments     you must have shit in your eyes young lady. Look at all these poor souls including you going round in circles, that's not my style. I now just sit back and watch, and then now and again let the cat loose amongst you pigeons

Young who said anything about young she is the perverable ice queen cold and frigid, aged and needy, venting out her frustration on TCs.

     So what you are saying shes no spring chicken, and if she was she must have been frozen an awful long time!!

Kifeas put the same argument much more logically- you keep 18 per cent we keep 82 per cent and then we can have partition, he even provided a nice map that shows that in addition to the 18 per cent you get a disproportionate amount of coastline which is the main resource in tourism. Now that could have been a reasonable opinion to put fort as representative of most people on this forum, not Oranos's emotional (honest but emotional) approach.

So you have done the maths from my posts . . . and what difference does it make that I am 49 years old ?

I don't care how old you two are; you just sound like a pair of psychotics.

The Turks could easily have killed me off with all their attempts in 1963-64 so the fact that I have managed to reach a ripe old age is my celebration and not a problem for me.

Carry on with your playground antics you just look more and more foolish the pair of you.

Sorry to disappoint you Nikitas and the rest, you simply don't have this luxury. We are at a point where we can pick and choose what we agree to. I personally would go along with Oranos' proposals and reject Kifeas', Piratis' and whoever else that may have the audacity to offer me 18% when I (almost) legally possess 37.

Ooohh Hello VP :D

Rested and reprogrammed after your "slip of the tongue"

Trying to suck up and get back into MR-from-NG's good books again?
Yes I am sure MR-from-NG doesn't like a taste of his own medicine . . . but I do not have to please him . . . like you do!

Wrong, wrong, wrong,

You've got it all wrong Phoenix, VP is answerable to nobody. He has the full support of all the TC members and has leadership qualities.

Whats the matter? Have I disturbed your hierarchy.

Given some orders by VP to set the record straight?

Squabbling for leadership of the forum TCs are you two? Look out VP, MR-from-NG is going to take your swastika away.

What pathetic games you play.

Once more the picture speaks itself " WE ARE AT A POINT WHERE WE CAN PICK AND CHOOSE " These words coming from Turks seems do not suceed to convist some Gcs and some of their leadership that the options are limited to only two:

aa.Agree a partnership with mainland Turkey to control the Island (not together but to allow us to have a small piece of control-lets say the policy for Limassol zoo and its economics. the rest to be controled by Turkey.

bb.To try to convist them to accept two separate states with two seaparate and not related future or policies.

3rd option not available- the only one which can be considered as 3rd option is to spend our time for the next 15-20 years until option 2 became a de jure situation.

I WONDER !!ARE TURKS READY TO ACCEPT TO RETURN 10 PER CENT OF THE OCCUPIED AREA AGAINST A SEPARATE STATE TO BE RECOGNISED?

I am interesting to see Turks or Tcs reaction on this last paragraph

Almost legally but not quite legally, you do have a way with words VP!

Today I was reading how Mr Dentkash is urging the government of the TRNC to recognise the land titles it has issued, the ones your Properties Commission is rejecting as illegal. Presumably the rejection is so that the process will stand up at the ECHR, which will not accept "almost legal" titles! How about getting almost serious and almost honest about other peoples' property. No modern state can be founded on theft, not even almost theft.

Epsilon,

The option of partition is almost attractive when you see the stuff written by some partitionists but it cannot be allowed by either Turkey or the UK.

Turkey wanst to control the whole island one way or another. The UK does not want the status of its bases to be jeopardised and the moment the only legal cover it has for those bases is the 1960 constitution. The UK tried to insert a clause in the European constitution coverin the base areas, but since that has been reworked we will not know the end result till the sigining of the Lisbon agreement in December.

So partition, along fair land distribution percentages might sound like a nice clean break, but it is not possible. We are not free to pick and choose, either one of us.
