After a serious incident at my parents home when my dad fell ill, I'm looking at setting up a form of panic alarm at their home, nothing major, just a button upstairs and a button downstairs with a small siren or alarm bell ringing outside on the wall and a light coming on.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of something like this, or if not, would anyone know how I can actually rig one up by making one? I'm thinking along the same prinicples as a door bell, nothing too flash, just something simple and basic, but something that will get the neighbours attention for help.

Any help on this will be appreciated.

We have one of these fitted at our house next to my side of the bed, as my husband travels alot. It is connected to the house alarm.
