It's started, the UK and TK trade Agreement!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The point is merely to turn the screw onthe GCs to either accept a plan that they don't want or as T_C says...

The current GC leadership is to blame for treating the Cyprus problem as a great big wanking competition.

OK true :P but actually i've had a change of heart - the overall policy by the British - is to further weaken the Greek Cypriots - scare them into accepting a solution that is fully acceptable to Turkey's military geopolitical interests.

I just saw this thread and sorry for replying without reading most of the replies first.

I believe the Turkish administration have kick-started their calling for the gradually recognition of the so-called TRNC state.

They have done this since 1983 mate, you just noticed? You mean that you didn't know that according to them the "trnc" is a state and they do not even recognize Republic of Cyprus?

I TOLD YOU ALL THIS WOULD HAPPEN WAY BACK IN AUGUST ... 2 YEARS FROM NOW...THEY WILL GET E.U KEY TOO ...ITS OVER ...

Here is what I told them on this forum back in Mar 12, 2004, 3 and a half years ago:

Soon Turkish Cypriots will face their own "realities". They will have 2 options:

1) Reunite Cyprus in a true federation, be equal Cypriot and European citizens, get rid of the Turkish control and secure a better future for them and their children

OR

2) Waste several more years as an unrecognized state, serve as a huge Turkish military base and be controlled by Turkey living in an undemocratic and underdeveloped edge of the world. After some years maybe Pakistan and Azerbaijan will recognize them .. Hooray!!

3 and a half years after and it is not even Azerbaijan. But I guess the fake hopes they are given keep their dream alive. We will wait. Lets see how many more years they will waste for themselves (while we will keep advancing) until they realize the truth.

Eric, do not be so happy. If a clear division was concluded then the big loosers of this story will be the Tcs.In two years their president will be the Mustafa from Anatolia.

So? shoudnt you be more concerned about losing 37% of your island than whats going to happen in the north?

Well, Viewpoint at least you acknowledge it is our island.

So now YOU know and ADMIT what we have been saying all along!

You are taking something that is NOT YOURS!

What does that make you . . . . a THIEF!

You still dont get it do you?, this island is as much yours as it is mine we do not deny that fact, but you physically lost 37% and we lost 63% capice, you cannot steal whats already yours, all that gonna happen now is that you will lose again offically this time as your arrogance and stubborness will once again be your downfall. Keep up the good work.

Advance where? a third car, another holiday per year or more money in the bank, well if thats the price we have to pay for keeping the TRNC then we are willing to paying 10 times over. You need to come to your senses about trying to feed us bullshit in order to capitulate to a GC state run by GCs.
