If you want to unite the island you cannot go backwards you have to go forwards and to do that you have to go via a BBF and political equality of the 2 communities as accepted by the international community, otherwise you can wait till hell freezes over for your swing thing and then blow all the TCs to kingdom come.

We will never capitulate to a GC state, we are equal partners and want to administer ourselves, we have no problem with Gc returning to their property or receiving compensation as the majority will not want live in anything but a GC state, this we can understand as we feel the same. Get this into your head try to digest that what we ask for is not that extreme and can be catered for in the form of something along the lines of the AP.

You did what was necessary to devide the Island and now you are asking whether we want to unite the Island.

In order to the Island to be United again you are requesting, in addition to what you have already stolen, to obtain a partnership in the rest.

Clever policy put the victims are more clever than you-slowly slowly they are staring to understand the plan.

You know full well how we arrived at where we are today so lets not keep going over old ground.

You cannot steal what already belongs to you and I am not say we rule the north and have a share in the south Im saying you rule south we rule the north and we come together at a federal level, you have as much say in the north as I have in the south.

Self administration of the Tcs either in the form of true Federation or autonomy in a Unitary state is a must. Not only for the Tcs but for the Gcs too. We don't want to be accused of imposing our will on them.

This self administration however involves some geographic boundaries. The major fear of the Gcs is the TCs or Turkey will use this self administration or autonomy as a stepping stone towards partition taking away from us a big part of our own country. There is too much risk involved for us. To minimize this risk the Turkish troops and complete demilitarization of the island must occur from 6-12 months after a solution.
And then we the Gcs just cross our fingers that the TCs will prove mature enough to handle their autonomy/self administration properly.

Shah,

When it comes to food, which in many ways it is the real living culture of a nation, there is a lot of borrowing. Nomadic horsement develop their uniqure recipes as do long settled people who cultivate the land. This being a subject I have researched for some time, I can tell you it is full of surprises. Bulgur is more popular with Turks than Greeks, yet evidence shows that it is in fact a Greek invention. Doner, well it probably is Turkish, it does not appear in any of the ancient Greek or Byzantine recipes I have looked into. The Greeks in any case did not eat much red meat until they got influenced by the Crusaders and the Turks.

You would be surprised about who stole what from whom when it comes to cooking and above all how we all stole from the Arabs.
