Papadopoulos has completely lost it!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

But why?

The reason he was happy was because he allocated himself about 30,000 donums of land and stood to lose the lot if there was a solution based on the annan plan.

Simple really. Its all about money.

Finally and answer that makes sense!

Does he still have the land or has he sold it to StuartN or one of his type?

I don't buy land my dear - I study it... thats what geologists do. Always happy to help!

That's OK, sounds like Denktash didn't buy his either!
Interesting terminology there my dear - what do you mean 'either?

I'm sure you're just confused - it's getting late after all

Elementary, dear StuartN. No confusion on my part. :D
You said you didn't buy land and it sounds like Denktash didn't buy the land either!
Comprende?

Silly me! - I thought youwere trying to play a clever word game there my dear..... it's a fault of mine - always assuming that some cleverclogs will be trying to catch me out! - I know you're not in that category now don't I dear?

I am NOT interested in your SORDID games StuartN.

"share(d)" and "halved", two little words that tell the history of Cyprus since 1963.

"halved" (almost) because of the greed of one side (GCs) who didn't want to "share" , now the island and peace is "shared" by both sides.

I don't have a problem with that.

Here is StuartN that just a while ago was saying that he is not a racist who supports ethnic cleansing and the pseudo state proving that he was lying.

VP, we will wait as long as it takes. Meanwhile the most you can have is a pseudo state run by the Turkish army.

That's a lot more than we had in 1963, so you do your waiting while we pursue and push every opportunity towards lifting isolation as even your saviours the EU will in time get pissed off with your intransigence and arrogance. Although you try to ignore them the tell tell signs are there and over the coming years these will increase as the world will come to understand that this problem will never be solved.

You guys crack me up....About 6 of you have just spent about 5 pages of posts trying to bash a phoenix on her own. Her question was valid, why when there were obviously no concessions made by the Turkish part, when all the gives were done by the GC's and all the takes by Erdogan. In this bazaar were even the UK turned up for a few items on sale, would any Turkish, Turkish Cypriot or indeed any individual East of Istanbul with a bushy moustache reject the Annan plan?

It was a gift to you however it seems that Tpap or not we still have a tiny gramme of brain left over here. The fact that Denktash's personal legacy and financial reasons made him agree with us says exactly that. Those of us who were to receive emotional and financial reward (getting our land and houses back) by accepting the AP and still voted no are different people to the Denktash's whose sole legacy to this island is succesful Taksim.
