Fax machine wanted

Postby Blindman » Tue Oct 23, 2007 1:44 pm

Fax machine wanted. Must be in good order.
Nothing complicated that needs attaching to my computer or gas cooker.
Just something simple and easy to use.

I'm based between Larnaca and Limissol.

Blindman, come to Larnaca and go to a shop called "Kleima". They have some fax machines there amongst other things at good prices. They are basic fax machines which is what I'm assuming you want?

I'll give you exact instructions....

When you come off the highway from Limassol to Larnaca, you will come to the big Roundabout, where if you go straight, it takes you to Larnaca, Right towards the airport, you want to go Left towards Nicosia direction, so you will be on another highway now.

Keep going straight for a few kilometres and take the exit to Nicosia. When you get to the top of the exit, you will come to another roundabout, left towards Nicosia, straight towards Paralimnis and RIGHT towards Larnaca. You go right at that roundabout towards Larnaca.

Keep going straight, you'll come to a roundabout. Go straight over to the next roundabout and Kleima is the big shop on your left.

They have alot of various things in Kleima, fax machines, phones, tools, fridges, domestic appliances, home electrical goods, furniture etc.

Everything in there is imported, I'll imagine mainly from China.

Failing seeing anything in Kleima, there is another shop called "Macotel" which is a telecommunications shop. Don't ask for anything too technical in there though as the poor girl gets easily confused. To get to Macotel, coming from the Port, head towards Carrefour. Go past Carrefour to the next set of lights where there is a Petrolina filling station on the right. Somehow, you need to turn the car around and go back towards Petrolina and drive into it from the front and straight out again from the side which will put you on the sliproad going parallel to the road you were just on. Macotel is on your left hand side. They will have some there as well, probably a bigger variety but more expensive.

Blindman,

i guess you were after a second hand m/c, but since Hazza has given you some directions for Kleima, I will add to these.

When you come to the said roundabout, the store is not immediately obvious, the store is actually currently in the basement of a new store they are building. You will know which one, it is on the corner semicircular with alot of glass. Take the left turn from there, then take the next left, a few metres there is another left, but is sya no entry (no one takes any notice of this, neither do I, otherwise you nwill never find the entrance) just turn into that and go towards the store. carparking on the right.

Good luck.

As for Macotel, well this shop is a bit below the road level and has Green livery. If you look on the right side of the road going up from carrefore, you may notice it. Somewhere along the line you need to cross the carrage way and come back down on your self to get to it.

Failing all that just goto larnaca and go to the nearest computer shop, i'm pretty sure you could get one from there.

Hope that helps.
