800 people is not genocide. Killing 10s of thousands of people is. So you have made genocide war against us.

Actually thats utter rubbish because genocide is not determined through numbers (too bad for you ) but through motive, so what happened in those TC villages was indeed genocide, and you cannot compare this with the inter communal fighting or the resistance against the Turkish invasion, there is absolutely no excuse for butchering defenseless villages and dumping them in mass graves, specially not the 400 year old Ottoman doings!!!

In the 7the century Lambousa, modern Lapithos, was attacked and taken over by Arabs. The residents buried their valuables in the ground before fleeing, expecting to come back and find them. And come back they did, 300 (yes three hundred!) years later. And they did dig them up where they buried them because each family told its descendants where the treasure was buried.

If you need inspiration visit the churches, those real old rectangula churches without garish kitch iconostats, in the mountains. Built in the 4th and 5th century they stand as proof of presence and continuity. We have been through a lot worse. As long as we do not forget, there is nothing to worry about.
