Bloody Turks!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I have no doubt they would........That is not the important question though utu.....Would the TCs.....When enough get fed up with the "RoC" and the world then....Game over!!!

That is a rather cynical summation, Zan. And yes, the fact that TC's visiting the RoCy are getting not exactly a warm reception at times doesn't seem to alleviate things. But surely there is still some hope of reconciliation, despite these examples of antipathy?

utu...You have no idea how anxious I get just thinking about losing my identity in Cyprus.......I have vowed never to visit Cyprus again if my people fall into the trap and surrender their rights hoping to get a fair deal after they have done so.......I guarantee you that the next mass exodus of TCs will happen just after that fatal mistake.....

Okay then, let me ask you this question: What would you accept if partition or Turkish annexation was not an option?

If they offered that, you would support reconciliation? You also think that other Turkish Cypriots would also support this?

Can you back that statement up with some hard evidence? I travel to both parts of the island and see GC visitors to the north and TC visitors to the south being treated just fine.

Tim,

just because we live here in Cyprus, don't expect to know any better than these 2 about what goes on, on the ground. Zan lives in London for gods sake, probably in Hackney! Thats like living in Aglantzia.
