Now if I agree with you . . . I would be admitting I was in a hopeless situation

Eliko, I seem to spend my life digging myself out of holes, whether for gardening purposes or sheer survival . . . Maybe I should just learn to keep my cake-hole shut! :D

Yeah !, I think that would be a lot easier than cultivating cucumbers.

May we terminate there, with this line on holes and cucumbers, as I feel an opportunist breathing down my neck!

No fear, GR is here! :D

Bad timing! Now I'm back and where are you? :?
No synchrony. :)

For your gardening why not try Asparagus. They have beautiful foliage lovely spears to suck on. Not as tasty as the wild ones but once you successfully grow these wonders of nature only then you are an accomplished gardener. I havent mentioned the benefits of asparagus but then with your background, you already know.

Hmm, I guess you are right. That's why all those Tcs who come to the free areas of CY Republic every single day never return back to the occupied area. ...because we eat them alive

MR-from-NG wrote:LONG LIVE TURKEY LONG LIVE THE TRNC.

That is why the majority of Tcs are CY/EU passport holders ...even Dentash's grandson has one!
....long live TR long live "trnc"

Gcs are not the ones who keep you "isolated". Interantional law is, since you are an illegal and an unrecognised regime. And I would go further and say that your beloved Turkey - that saved your lives, that defends you, that supports you financially and is your best friend - keeps you isolated from the rest of the world with her hostile and illegal actions.

And I do not understand why you say that you are "isolated". You are not.
I bet the majority of you, who curse night and day CY Republic & Gcs, are CY/EU passport holders. You can travel anywhere you like and have all the benefits EU citizens have, and you owe this to Gcs as you became in one night EU citizens on their expense.
Excuse my french, but, who should say F... off?

It's another of those nights when I am reminded of the futility of discussing rights and wrongs with the Turk-TCs.

Nothing has changed. They are still illegally occupying nearly 40% of Cyprus and keeping 200,000 GCs from their homes with their stationed 43,000 Turkish troops.

And we are in Europe, and part of the EU, and these Asian intruders are plundering the boundaries of the EU and the only country that is turning a blind eye and allowing this to continue is one of our guarantors . . . . the UK.
Never mind the backward USA, that has no rightful say-so in Europe anyway . . . . . but shamefully, Britain, the country I have supported with my taxes and teachings and research over the last 25 years.

Shame on you UK . . . why so much self interest to the exclusion of long term good? Where will it get you, but isolation, along with the Turks, from the rest of civilised Europe.

You are no longer the beacon of Democracy and Human Rights . . . . you are judged by your friends . . . the Turks.

I am glad you said Turks and not TCs. I am no lover of the UK either. I suppose that is why you are retiring to Cyprus?

Got it in one Phoenix. I should have retired today. Alas I am mortgage trapped. I wanted to move to Cyprus, but not in a concrete Jungle. Perhaps on the south side of Stavrovouni, I can get my land back, then I am off.

Still 62 Phoenix. I had plans to retire together with my wife, but alas. No way could I be Zans standby. He is far too fiery. I am but a tiny glowing dying ember. Just give me enough Oxygen and I will burst into flames.
