TCs, enemy of Cyprus.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

phoenix, if it's any consolation to you I always knew you had no balls no matter which sock you were speaking out of.

I never treated you like a "Lady" either because a "lady" you definitely are not.

Turkey is nothing without the support of the USA. Within 10 years her military machine will be scrap metal if the US decide to.They did exactly the same to Iraq. You base all your argumentation that everything is static. It is not....

Are you not putting all your eggs in one basket, Pyro. Turkey has a very healthy arms industry and the ability to build fighter aircraft. In fact it already does. So, if I were you I would not wait for the USA to turn its back on Turkey. Just for info.

Ottoman empire in its effort to keep occupied areas , not an own country, had the right to fight , to kill , to do even a genocide or if you do not agree on the word to kill 1.5million civilians. All this just to keep a foreign territory.

Had Gcs killed Tcs during 1963-1967? Yes of course . How many? Personally i do not have any number.

Had Tcs killed Gcs during the same period? Yes of course. how many i do not know also.

Lets go to the reason, to the why? Were the Greeks of Cyprus the majority in the Island? Did they have the right , as all other Nations, for a free decision about their destiny? If someone say no then to explain us his position.

Had Turkey signed and accepted NO INTEREST about Cyprus when the control transfered to British?

The Greeks of Cyprus after centuries of occupation and no freedom, decided in 50's that they want union with Greece. Wrong position on today's circumstances but history must be considered on the basis of time it happens. Then, in 50's is anybody here who can say that even one G/Cypriot was thinking or declaring that he was a simple Cypriot or even a Greek Cypriot or all of them were feeling/believing that they were simple GREEKS UNDER OCCUPATION?

Then a minority (Tcs) by the guides of British and later by Turkey started to fight the Greeks willigness for union.

In such a case , had the Greeks the right to fight for their future as same was decided by them?

Now we are speaking about Cyprionism and for a united nation with Tcs. Is this a clear victory of the minority or not? Is this the colapse of a nation's dreams or not?

Are the Tcs responsible alone? No of course not. Our leadership is much more responsible than them.

Do we have to go back to union dream? No , of course not. Even our own people are not willing to do so, including me.(Me for different reasons i believe).

Do we have to sign an agreement ? if yes with whom? With the invasion forces or with Tcs? Can the Tcs sign an agreement themselves without the approval of the invasion forces? Not of course not. Therefore any agreement lead us to a cooperation and co-control of the Island with the invasion forces.

Then what? If we had the military power the solution should be only one - to free our country from the foreigners. We do not have this power and it seems this will be the case for the next 1000years.-at least-

Then what? ANY SUGGESTIONS? I HAVE ONE BUT I KEEP IT FOR A LATER STAGE

well said mate ...were have you been ?

Eric,

Sounds to me like you are using a sterotype typified in the movie "Big Fat Greek Wedding" to describe Phoenix. That's probably not a good idea as it makes you look rather like a stereotype yourself.

GC’s enemies of Cyprus and generally the biggest enemy of Cyprus is the stupidity on both sides but the last years the gold medal of stupidity goes to GC’s.

"Turkey has a very healthy arms industry "

They assemble planes (F16s) under license from the Americans, the same way the Greeks build submarines and missile boats under license from the French and Germans. There is very little original development in either country. If there was it would trickle down to other areas of the economy and they both would be more advanced than they are now.
