It's only worth it when there is a RELEVANCE to what you are selling. Otherwise the advert overshadows the product you are trying to sell, as is the case with this particular advert. I don't think I've ever seen an advert as irrelevant to the product it's trying to sell as this one...EVER!
So while a lot of people might be talking about the "Cadbury advert" I doubt more people will buy chocholate JUST because they saw a gorilla playing drums while listening to Phil Collins.
Who remembers this Gucci advert?
