Stupid Advert

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Postby T_C » Tue Oct 23, 2007 9:59 pm

It's only worth it when there is a RELEVANCE to what you are selling. Otherwise the advert overshadows the product you are trying to sell, as is the case with this particular advert. I don't think I've ever seen an advert as irrelevant to the product it's trying to sell as this one...EVER!

So while a lot of people might be talking about the "Cadbury advert" I doubt more people will buy chocholate JUST because they saw a gorilla playing drums while listening to Phil Collins. :?

Who remembers this Gucci advert?

Now THAT was classy. 8) 8) 8)

BUT, just because you don't like gorillas, drums and Phil Collins songs does not make it rubbish. You do like chocolate don't you ?

Yes I like chocolate :D

You may be right about not buying chocholate but I bet they buy more chocolate.

Never seen the Gucci advert but that sort of thing is for posers anyway.

To me the main thing is the entertainment and wow factor. I hate advert breaks but some are worth seeing again and I never get influenced by them anyway.

Can you get a Guci Gorrilla shot gun.......I hate that advert as well. I hate all the ones on Youtube too.

I have got an idea that will sell even more chocolate than that advert and they can pay me the sums that they must have payed the person who thought up that rubbish......Stick a chocolate bar in the arse cheeks of TPap and let him dance the Zorba naked........
