Animals are far more sensitive and intelligent than many people realise!Ask any farmer who has sent pigs to the abbatoir and he will say that they often refuse to come out of their pens on the day and can sense that something is going to happen to them.......Cattle can smell blood and often get wild when they are waiting to enter the stunning pen at the abbatoir.Anyone who has killed a goat will tell you that they cry like babies as soon as anyone tries to touch them.Surely any way of reducing stress is mandatory and killing them without stunning is barbaric and cruel!
