DISY proposal for preservation of national anthem and Greek flag

The Democratic Rally proposed last Saturday to the National Council the preservation of the national anthem and the Greek flag in the Greek-Cypriot constituent state, the party president Nikos Anastasiades confirmed today.





- Not yet revealed by TC nationalists but sure they think the same thing too ... Even the perfect solution will have been found in a certain time, I think it won't last long as long as the nationalists of both sides act weirdly and meaninglessly ...



I'm sure of that the both sides nationalists have a strong abhorrence to each other... They will disturb each other everythere they'll meet. They will even provoke not only each other but use other innocents to satisfy their cheuvenistic feelings.

And I'm sure of that they won't hesitate to injure or kill the ones they hate. They will keep insisting on their nationalistic dreams.(Hellenisation/Turkification of Cyprus).

Tey will always accuse each other and never admit their faults or crimes.



So... Guess what a peaceful Island Cyprus will be after a fair solution....



Do I prefer the Cyprus problem not to be solved... of coarse not... I've never scared of those nationalists and will never scare... What I'm sorry about it is the little children ... They will grow up with their stupid arguments and disgusting fightings. And what about those nationalists children? Their brains will be washed by their parents no doubt...

We have a very nice flag designed by both Greek and Turkish Cypriots. It doesn't have neither blue nor red color. I've been in several countries and even people not very good in geocraphy can recognize the Cyprus flag because it is so unique.

We should keep the flag and just change the national anthem to something as nutral as the flag.

There is no need for other official flags/nathional anthems on this island.

We will only vote for a plan that trually unites this place, and not officially dividing it along ethnic lines.

Annan Plan is refering a new order.So none of today's flags will remain as today.This is what i think.May be we can change today's RC flag little.For example what about a cyprus in a circile of olive branches? Yellow background colour,green Cyprus and Green olive branches circle it!

Actually this are details. I wouldn't mind to change the flag a bit.

But we should all be under that one flag. And we should believe in that one flag. I don't think we should have federal state flags, and definetly not "national" anthems for each federal state.

i don't want national anthem ...Umm ok but there has to be a flag of each constituent state! That flag will show that which state you are in!
