miltiades wrote:FREECYPRUS , Do tell us , how would you describe Epsilons' weird and unbalanced view of "GREEK REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS " further more what books would recommend that he/ she reads on the histotory of Cyprus .
ps i think you are spelling the f word quite correctly so carry on fecking mate !! You may tell some one to feck off soon !!!

firstly one does not need to read the view on greek republic of cyprus.or the so calle turkish north side for that matter they are cut cut from the same cloth they preach and they practice the same ugly propaganda of divide and rule, firthermore, the leaders in these two communities are strong belivers in greece and turkey as motherlands.

now to my belief i dont believe those those who speak greek or turkish are what they claim to be greeks and turks, i do believe they only speak the language and paractice the religion.but to me they are the one and the same people cypriots, and they have nothign to do with turkey or greece except the fact they speak their language

you ask me to recommend a book to be read about cyprus history. firstly cyprus the only history it has has been the history made by invaders through out the centuries reagarding cyprus, in a nut shell cyprus has been the longest serving slave island in the world and its still is today............now what book of history shall i recomend a book that is writen byt turks and imported into cyprus or a hostory book writen in greece and imported to cyprus,......................

i go by my personal experiance when it comes to cyprus and that experiance is a direct result of dealing with diplomats in both communities as you like to call then the radio stations and newspapers as well as countless bussiness men and woman. as a free thinker i come to my own conclussions and my own personal view regarding cyprus and the so called greeks and turks that i dont recognise , except that they are cypriots and they are ignorant and they are uneducated in the matters of ones own mind and the matters of cyprus. thats why they give 95% of cyprus to greece and turkey the other 5% is the so called leaders acting on orders and foreign polecy of greece and trukey

as for the feck word you know me i love to use it when the feckersssssssssssss are talking shit and its hard to keep a score here because its all over the forum...................i hope i have answered some of your questions

EPSILON, hissyfits

Thank you for your recommendations!

@Free-cyprus

Free_cyprus I have lots of people moaning to me about my attitude, that sometimes my mouth get me into trouble because i always say what i am thinking. Sometimes i just express my opinion but some other times I just say things the way it comes to my mind and is not always good....and what i actually think now is that i dont need you (who do not know me at all) preaching me about the opposite. I respect your opinion and thank you for bothering. But thanks I will pass.

As for your comment and the American, i think you are talking to the wrong person, i do not hate anything that comes from America, they do have brilliant books, and some of the top book/authors are American, the top Universities are Americans. I am not an idiot my dear...but your list was full of books that come from the American industry...trying to tell you the secrets of life, how to be happy, how to be good business man, how to find the power of positive thinking etc....well i totally disagree with this kind of books and i find them totally boring and useless. My brother has lots of them...i personally hate them. That was all about with America...I do not like what is in those books not where they come from. Clear??

By the way, if a good book come from America or Turkey or Greece or Cyprus or whenever ... do not stop to be a good book. But please...no more political debates in this thread.

Hello again, Free Cyprus. Your response to Lena makes me curious. Do you have a degree from a bona fide university?

Oh, and for the sake of staying on topic, I've read so many good books that it's difficult for me to choose a favorite, but I might recommend The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Evgenides. It's a bit disturbing, so don't read it just before you go to bed. Another good but distrubing one is The Alienist by Caleb Carr. He's a master of twists and turn. If you're faithful to the ecclesiastical calendar, don't read it during Lent.

hahahahaahah
no i dont have a degree from univercity, do i need one from univercity to be an educated me lol sometimes univercities grant doctronate to people who have excelled in certain fields even though these people might not have formal education, we have covered the topic of education in this forum before and real education is definatly not the one you get from univercity thats for sure.

reagards to your book choices i dont read fiction, i have read over a thousand books on philosophy, psychology, self improvement, nutrician, ect anything to do with body mind and spirit. that nurishes and grows ones own perception, even though most of these book says the same thing in diferrent ways

Well all those in red are popular pseudo self-help manuals churned out to satisfy neurotic introverts . . . so a word of how useful / interesting you found them might be productive. 8)

As for the others they are a stark contrast to the manuals. Have you read them all the way through or do you put them down and then go back to them years later? :?

I think FC learns nothing from what he allegedly reads. He keeps them as trophies.

Can you imagine what free_cyprus was like PRIOR to reading all the above self-help books? :?

He possibly had some common sense

I think there is a much deeper version than that one based along the same lines....If you get my drift
