Is that the translation you were referring to earlier Deniz because if it is I have a bone to pick with you!!!

It's not only you Zan, it's at least another 3 persons. I don't want to mention names, but I am surprised Deniz hasn't yet spotted them.

I don't see what the problem is anyway. I am a product of my generation and there are thousands like me...I am so glad to see that the younger generation is much different though and are frequently visiting Cyprus and keeping up with the TC side of them....As much as you guys don't like to hear it, they actually have somewhere they can relate to and call home. I didn't have that and felt alienated for a long time. If I can at last feel like a Turkish Cypriot then there is hope for every one. Make no mistake guys...This is a very big mile stone in my life.....I do not intend to let go of it.

Pyro, I dont like to name names. If I ever do it would be only in their praise. Like I praised GR for being the MASTER' ---- stirer?'.

Many of us have faults, but we all have good points as well. Sometimes its good to give praise where it is due.

1)i don't see any problem either Zan. Simply Deniz got offended.
2)I don't know any expat who was visiting frequently in the 60s-80s. Air tickets costed a fortune. Today the standard of living is ten times higher and the cost of air tickets as low as 1/5th, so the real cost is 50 times less that what it was.

Pyro, I was nearly offended. I had not finished reading your post yet. I wrongly assumed it was another barrage of TC bashing.

Do you personally know the Mystical Three? I do not recal anyone apart from Zan mentioning anything about their abilities. Even then I did not believe him as I felt he was quite good with his posts.(in English) I assumed wrong.

Wait - lets get to the real issue at hand. Was this golf tournament all a propaganda hoax?

Thanks VP and it also seems that the TRNC/KKTC is making more of an effort to make us welcome as well. I hear many heartwarming stories to this effect.

I hope you don't mind me mentioning this but I PM'ed you to ask if you felt that KKs' translation was a good one because I could not get the rhythm of it fully because of my bad Turkish. You said it was good but did not mention the fact that it made you cry. I am assuming this is the translation you were referring to by the way. I will make an effort to get it read to me by someone that speaks perfect Turkish so that I can get a feal for it now that I know that....
