A stark reality many of us don't see

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Mon Oct 15, 2007 8:09 pm

Nikitas, the most possible scenario (since tcklim asked for it) is that the greediness of Turkey will at some point force the superpower to split Turkey up.

For how long do you think the USA will stand it for the Turks ruining their plans and asking for too much for themselves? (e.g the oil of north Iraq). At some point I believe the relationship between USA and Turkey will be damaged sevearly, at which point we should give a final kick to the Turkish dreams for EU membership, which will have as a result that Turks will start acting even more nationalistic.

Then after the Turks will be deprived from new technologies and intelligence information for a few years, the US will supply the Kurds with weapons and information and let them fight the Turks for a few years in a very exhausting war. Then after a while the UN will intervene and split Turkey in parts like it happened with Yugoslavia.

The Americans will then have control of the oil at Kurdistan (the Kurds will voluntarily give it to them for their support), and Greece and Cyprus that will provide bases and help the invasion of Turkey will be given back northern Cyprus and maybe something more in the Aegean.

Thats just one scenario of the many that can happen and see Cyprus being liberated from the Turkish occupation.

Piratis,

Some of the forum denizens whould do a web search on pulse weapons, passive radar, mini cruise missiles, celldar (cheap form of passive radar), military robotics and a host of other small technical advances that cancel out the advantages of 250 strike aircraft and ships. Once these things are widely available (they are available now but not widely) things will change even if neither Cyprus or Turkey get them. Talking will be more profitable than not talking once these are around and both sides know about them.

Keep obsessing about the Italian Parliamentarians to try and ridicule the article. ONE IS A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT AND THE OTHER IS A MEMBER OF A POLITICAL PARTY. Now focus on the rest of the points of the article and realize who is or isn't against us.

And if the Cypriots cannot solve the Cyprus problem, who pray tell are you relying on to do so? The EU definetely won't get us anything, Greece is a puppet, the US loves Turkey and the UK is pissed off enough at us. And even if any of them could be bothered to help, you would ridicule them and call them devils and piss them off further and insist that we should solve the problem. Which is it?

Keep following that carrot..... you'll never grab it.

And you can re-elect and choose corruption and lies as many times as you like.... but your stupidity is our sentence. Either way, at this rate you and I will be buried long before a solution to the Cyprus problem is ever found so the real pain will be inflicted on future generations....

Oh really? show me their seats:

Here's some help:
"Italian Transnational Radical Party (TRP) - Maurizio Turco and member of the TRP Marco Perduca. "

If you lived during the Ottoman era I am sure you would be one of those that would change their religion and language in order to pay less taxes and have some privilages.

We are just different people. Fortunately you and your similar belong to a small minority, so no "Cyprus for Sale", sorry.

Piratis, i'm very sorry to have to inform you that you won't be around to witness your grand delusions come into effect.... and I can't wait for the day that a pulse weapon saves Cyprus....

I'm starting to think G.W. is more sane than a lot of other people closer to home

By the way, could you respond to some of the other logistical questions I posed.... just answer honestly, I really appreciate your views so far, it at least allows me to understand where you're coming from

And what did you expect some Turco to do? He is doing what serves the Turks, and we should do what serves Cyprus.

So yes, Papadopoulos is who we need exactly in this difficult times, because as the saying goes: "When the going gets tough, the tough get going".

But tcklim and the like prefer the "When the going gets tough, pull down your pants, and bend to be fucked" I guess it is because it rimes better.
