A stark reality many of us don't see

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Don't give me any drivel about fighting for a just solution etc etc as we all know that the people who run this country are fighting for their own self-interest and any fool can understand that!Sorry, but this is the bitter truth and denying it only perpetuates our misery!

I studied that bloody plan like very few people have. It takes a lot of wrongs in that plan for someone who was first in line to get his home back to vote NO for it.

Personally I don't give a rats ass about the "european solution" but I will ask you this. WHat did the Turkish side compromise on in this plan? Where was their give to our take? Why would mine and my childrens lives be better with this venomous plan?

Have argued the AP too many times but happy to go at it again cymart if you wish to open a new thread about it.

Anna Plan clarifications etc.

Postby cymart » Tue Oct 16, 2007 6:18 pm

AKEL wanted three points, which included that the hand over of territory to be returned to the G.C.'s must be placed under U.N. control immediately the plan was accepted, to be sorted-out before the referendum so they could recommend a 'yes' vote.However,Papad. sent foreign minister Iacovou to Moscow the week before to make sure the Russians stopped the U.N. Security council from adopting the Annan Plan.Apparently they also recommended that the referendum be postponed for at least 3 months to allow more time for negotiations, all of which were quite reasonable demands, considering what was at stake, but of course nobody agreed.
And for that mistake I blame everyone, especially the big powers if they were really interested in getting people to accept a solution here.
But it's all history now...

Good points D.T.

I fully understand your concerns and rather than try to convince you of the advantages of the Plan for this side,I really recommend you pay attention to what the Bishop of your town Neophytos says,a true visionary and a man with a really christian spirit and soul-if only the other senior leaders of the church behaved like him, although Athanasios is also very logical.
But the Annan Plan is dead and buried anyway since the day this side turned it down and this is quite clearly stipulated so why does Papad. and co. keep trying to dig it up?

they keep trying to dig it up because rejecting it was the only good thing they did. Its been downhill since then.

What have I posted that prompts the above statement, I wish for you what you wish for me, I have always said we should create a level playing field but GCs are adamantly against this idea as they feel that in time we will yield to their demands.

As I said we always had people like you, but you have always been the minority. This is why we still speak Greek on this island. If all were like you ...

Bananiot has more decency in his little finger than you have in your whole body, you lack vision and understanding, you are not even aware of the damage you do.

Bananiot's "vision" is to hand Cyprus on a plate to Turkey so it's little wonder you praise him so much.

Piratis on the hand stands for JUSTICE FOR CYPRUS which is something illegal invaders like yourself cannot handle for obvious reasons.

Rubbish, you obviously do not posess the intelligence to understand what he is saying, you really need to try harder and stop making snide and unproductive remarks. You GCs are the reason why we will never unite. Viva la TRNC....

You are still full of crap VP as always the voice of t reason !!!!

Prove me wrong our incompetence lack of vision and desire for a solution is only matched by your arrogant blind belief that we will be forced to unite with people who only want the whole island for their own GC state which exsists as the "RoC" and reduce us to minority status in our own country.

All one needs to do is read your stupid tagline let alone your laughable posts...

You choose the ignorant way out and attack the person rather than the arguement, this says more about your own inteliigence than mine.
