JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Computer Instructors needed for next term

Postby Louisa » Sun Oct 14, 2007 11:12 am

Create I.T. Academy is a training centre that teaches creative computer courses.

We currently need instructors for the following software:

Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Motion, Maya, Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Dreamweaver, Flash, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), ECDL

Courses are all taught on Apple Macs

This is a part time position and would suit students.

£5 - £7.50 CYP (£6 - £9 GBP) per hour depending on experience and skill level

If you think you know any of the programs above well enough to teach, then please email us with your CV and covering letter at the following address...

I am more than familiar with most of these programs and I also know 3D max...but your hourly rate sucks...no offence...

Someone could make more by designing web sites, advertising, or even rendering 2D to 3D, etc...

that wasn't the issue...the issue is when you pay peanuts you get monkeys...

and the answer to your question is, yes...I could, but not under the hourly rates offered... ...I wouldn't get out of bed for under US$100 per hr...

If I was the owner of the school I would have done a web site to showcase the skills that are gonna be aquired...do you see any of these skills exchibited?...I don't...

well they used photoshop and dreamweaver with limited abilities...how about doing a 3D animation in 3D max, or Maya, and then converting to flash...after all they will be teaching these skills...

I see 2 problems with this academy
1...lack of marketing
2...low pay

btw this is only my humble opinion after being involved with computers since 1975 to the present...

I noticed that all courses are taught on Macs, do you mind if the person your hiring is PC trained instead?
