How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

This "chasm" you keep bringing up VP, how do you see it bridged?

Do you realise there need never be a chasm if the 40,000 Turkish troops go back to Turkey and the 200,000 ethnically cleansed GCs can go back to their rightful homes.

If it were only that simple...You see it as solving your problems but we see it as the start of ours. Many more problems than the refugees and the Turkish army exist.

Nonsense. Your people would start living like human beings for once… have a guess why you’re living in England and not the “TRNC”! It’s easy for you to shout partition from far away but if you were living there you wouldn’t be happy under those conditions.

OH! GR  I do wish you would listen to what I say. I am in the UK because I was chased out of my country. We stayed in the UK because it took til 1974 for my people to get out of the "RoC" clutches and even then my people were held under siege and life did not function as it should. By the time anything positive started to happen in the TRNC/KKTC I was grown and had a family. When my sons have grown also and are settled then if my wife and I can drag ourselves away from being close to our children, we would like to move to Cyprus. I doubt if that is going to happen on a full time basis though because I can't see myself being away from them for too long.

The point about not shouting for partition if I were in Cyprus....If that wee true then there would not be so many people that are shouting for the same that ARE in Cyprus. The Annan Plan was the last straw GR.......

So you are telling me you are stuck with 40,000 Turkish troops, (one soldier for every remaining TC  ) for ever, and there's nothing you can do about it?

Would you like us to come and rescue you?

Hi everybody !
during our very short trip to Lazkiye ,
They were very happy to see us. Every shop , every place i visited they called us Well Come Our Muslim Brothers , Even our politicians are not with you . We, The People of the Syrians hearts are always with you , they were telling us. Most of the shop owners told us they like Turkey and Turkish Brothers from Cyprus.
Also they asked me about many Turkish Cypriots that they used to go there for shopping .
Young boys and girls would like to study in our universities . There was a Palestinian boy that he was studied at eastern Medditerean University .He took me around Lazkiye Show me most of the historic and turistic places.
İ hope Turkish Cypriots people will visit they are summer holiday places.Every where was quite and people were friendly.
İ dont care what politicians or others says. İ felt they are well come ........
