This "chasm" you keep bringing up VP, how do you see it bridged?
Do you realise there need never be a chasm if the 40,000 Turkish troops go back to Turkey and the 200,000 ethnically cleansed GCs can go back to their rightful homes.
If it were only that simple...You see it as solving your problems but we see it as the start of ours. Many more problems than the refugees and the Turkish army exist.
Nonsense. Your people would start living like human beings for once… have a guess why you’re living in England and not the “TRNC”! It’s easy for you to shout partition from far away but if you were living there you wouldn’t be happy under those conditions.
OH! GR I do wish you would listen to what I say. I am in the UK because I was chased out of my country. We stayed in the UK because it took til 1974 for my people to get out of the "RoC" clutches and even then my people were held under siege and life did not function as it should. By the time anything positive started to happen in the TRNC/KKTC I was grown and had a family. When my sons have grown also and are settled then if my wife and I can drag ourselves away from being close to our children, we would like to move to Cyprus. I doubt if that is going to happen on a full time basis though because I can't see myself being away from them for too long.
The point about not shouting for partition if I were in Cyprus....If that wee true then there would not be so many people that are shouting for the same that ARE in Cyprus. The Annan Plan was the last straw GR.......
