The only correct statement you have made is that TCs will never be European. That stands to reason, they came from very far away and are still carrying their Oriental genes with them.

However, the GCs are categorically European and it really BUGS you. You have painted a glowing picture of Europeans as race-horses in order to draw a metaphor with the Cyprus donkey. Pathetic nursery allegory.

Another example of cunning Turks trying to rewrite History and distort natural facts.

No one is saying anyone is better than anyone else, so grow up! Accept we're different i.e. not the same.

But it's by our ACTIONS that we should be judged . . . and that VP is where Turkey lets you down!

I have no pangs of guilt for my Greek NOR my Cypriot heritage. Any past wrongs have been righted by our insistence on not invading our neighbours to the present day and to practice true Democracy.

This of course sidesteps the period of 1963 to 74 once again

We were trying to establish true Democracy during that time-point Zan. And the TCs were trying to stop us so that they could continue to enjoy a higher representation in the running of the RoC.

Well Oranos, I have lived in the south of France for sometime after being in England for some years and assimilating British culture. I was able to adapt to the French way of life, talking about the south always the Provence region, because I came from Cyprus and not becaue I was angocized. The similarities in overal lculture are many- they farm like us, grow the same things and have similar festivals. They celebrate saints days, and feast days and family ties are as important as they are to Cypriots. They even have the tradition of the godfather like we do. Same goes for the south of Italy where large parts speak the same dialect of Greek as us the Magna Grecia region of Pulia.

Your average Briton and northern European does not share these traditions and in the south of France he is more foreign than we are. That is what I meant and concluded from experience. And if you want to compare the bad things, ask British expats about living in Provence and they will whine about the same things their counterparts find objectinable about Cyprus- rude people, shady developers, too touristy, high cost of living etc. We are similar that way too.

These are the very words that send every TC running the the opposite direction. Not one single word of what we say matters and you dismiss every one.....Nice place to be this "RoC" you portray.....NOT!!!
