Ok, let's talk about your Mother then. I demand that every time she prostitutes herself in the "TRNC" she should pay the RoC taxes. That's TAX evasion I'll have you know...

LOL GR i think you have ridiculed yourself plenty with your views on the matter anyways, how old are you 15?

What's the matter with you Shamaran? You jumped at the opportunity to defend antiquity thieves yet you have no similar desire to defend the woman that brought you to this world? Shame on you tough guy!

There is not a person here that has defended this act...What the hell are you talking about.

Right... so how long will it take before you condemn it instead of hijacking the thread with irrelevant garbage?

Why should we condemn it, it was a time of war and refugees needed places to live and they did what they had to do in order to survive, now selling them thats another issue which really depends on the solution i think, but thats just me i guess.

I'm glad you had a look at the article because they sure look like war time dates...

October 29, 1997. Cyprus begins extradition proceedings against Dikman.

November 8, 1997. "The Lost Treasures of Cyprus" exhibition opens at Haags Gemeentmuseum with 32 frescoes from Antiphonitis and the Kanakariá mosaic of St. Thaddeus.

November 26, 1997. Police learn from Dikman's documents of a third apartment rented by him under a false name. In the cellar they find an additional 30 to 40 crates with 130 icons, 25 frescoes, two mosaics, other artifacts, and an unauthenticated Picasso.

December 22, 1997. The 32 Antiphonitis frescoes and the Kanakariá mosaic recovered by Georgiou-Hadjitofi and temporarily exhibited in The Hague return to Cyprus.

February 11, 1998. Police seize nine Byzantine icons from the Munich home of Greek dealer Seraphim Dritsoula. The icons, apparently from more than one church, had been purchased from Dikman.

I believe the vast majority of TCs condemn any form of looting. The hard working, self made TCs resent that these parasites have gained at the loss of the GCs.

I have been working hard all my life in the UK to achieve something and maintain a lifestyle that I and my family have been accustomed to. I built my dream home in Cyprus on Turkish land which cost me at least 20k more than GC land would have cost me.

I hate it when I see these arseholes driving in their BMs and Mercs that they could only dream of bought by monies gained by selling GC land or antiquities stolen from churches. They are nothing but criminals, that includes the fucking so called TRNC government for allowing it.

So my friend GR, in essence we as TCs do condemn those that have gained at your loss and we hope that you will find justice in the near future.
