Please define what you mean by wear and tear or neglect? a mosque ransacked and left to deteriorate is no different from a church ransacked and left to natures will. You claim blue murder on churches but ignore the mosques, why is that I wonder?

Wear and tear or neglect are due to the Mosques having been left by the people who normally maintain them. There understandably would be little expectation from both sides to say, paint the windows every five years or renew the wiring etc. So naturally they would fall into disrepair through neglect. That would be acceptable since we are in a situation of war / ceasefire.
But what you are confusing and what I am complaining about is when there is deliberate and wilful removal of artifacts from these buildings. What GR! had exposed is the deliberate removal of icons and such like from the churches for the purpose of selling them and making money.
Now you are claiming the same has been done to treasures from the Mosques. So I would appreciate you providing some evidence rather than just making comments.

wasn't Matsakis arrested for having a couple of house loads of antiques      Isn't he still in government along with that other crook Tpap

If you are referring to the following . . .

. . . then it's just charges which he denies, so innocent until proven guilty is the verdict.

he got proven innocent. Case closed a while back

Two houses full of antiquities and he gets off with it......hahahahahahahaaaaa

Two houses? You mean a whole f****** football field full of giant pots and wooden chests! Their big mistake was to come and confiscate them all and thus wasting valuable time and resources shifting them here and there only to realize that they couldn't fit them anywhere so they took them back!

The fools should've just sealed off the area and concentrated on the actual investigations!

Here you go.....names of villages where you will rejoice and us cry in the destruction of anything TC, homes mosques produce...

YAGMURALAN

YOLÜSTÜ (KOLONİ)

TABANLI (İSTİNCO)

YEŞİLOVA (MANDİRYA)

OVALIK (DİMİ)

These are just a few go visit and report back your findings.

Where is the evidence VP?
Are they just neglected? . . . doesn't count. What proof do you have that artifacts were removed and sold for profit.? That is what we are discussing.
I see no similarities with GR!'s strong case against the "TRNC".
Again, you are giving me hearsay. Not valid.

Typical GC response one rule for Gcs another for Tcs, theirs counts ours dont, nothing has really changed from the 1960s mentality is still the same, thank god the GCs voted NO.

You are showing your own ignorance by displaying your biased, those villages we ransacked by GCs nothing was left in the mosques or homes, are you suggesting the birds took them tut tut tut....some people are so blind that they will never see reality.

You are talking nonsense , as usual . I visited ISTINJO , The mosque is still standing intact , the entire village is in a state of desprepair but has no evidence of malicious destruction , all signs also direct you to ISTINJO !!!

Are the religious artifacts still in place or was it empty?? obviously something haooened to the contents, ho yes it was ransacked and desecrated by venomous GCs.
