Today I woke up very early and hang around the house for a while. Then I visited The Cyprus Mall, nice job but a mall is a mall, Whilst I was getting pissed off with my family who wanted to walk around and do their shopping I had an opportunity to meet Cypriot guy who speaks Turkish and we chatted about how he felt coming to the free areas for shopping and work. He said that he did not feel unsafe adn rather respected by other Cypriots. But was a bit weary and i did not press the issue.

Deniz, thank you for your coments earlier. I do respect others points of view, however in terms of developing friendships I prefer to invest time in people who share similar values, I can accept opposing points of view of others.

I like VP as I told him for he argues for his point of view. However about the isolation well it is no longer a problem for a great number of Cypriots who accept to live within the RoC but currently living in the occupied aareas.

anyway back to family and relatives.

ciao and chat soon

btw I enjoyed a great tashinopita.

İ am very glad that you are enjoying your holiday in Cyprus.
Pls Humanist don't take any notice from them.
They should leave this tread only for your expriencies. All forum pages full up withb their stupid arguments.
FOR GOD SAKE AT LEAST THİS TİME DON't ARGUE GOOD FOR NOTHİNG !

Hi guysl

I have had a couple of nice days I visited a lovely village in the Troodos mountains with my cousin then up to Troodos itself where, guess what met a couple of Cypriots who spoke Turkish and we briefly chatted about my exerience in australia and also my holiday here. I told them that I am overjoyed at my frequent meetings with many Cypriots who speak Turkish and comented about the situation. It appears that wellshare the same view, it is sad and pathetic and something should be done quickly. Today I went to Ledra street and did some shoping the funny thing was as I was walking in the back streets I bumped into the Cypriot of Turksih linguistic background whom I met at the Mall Of Cyrpus the other day. He now lives in thier old home in the free areas and was cooking souvla he invited to lunch. How lovely was that. I declined because I had other plans. Then I went to the market place at Agalma and once again I was pleased to hear Turkish being spoken. It is re-assuring that the problem will be solved by itself as people begin to move freely around their country. I am planning to go to Kyrenia in the next few day and Apostolos Andreas as I have a wish to fulfil. We'll see. The lack of English signage is my main concern.

I also noticed the famous Flo cafe, today and had a chucckle at myself.

Ok guys chat later. I m looking forward to my trip to Paphos.

Ciao for now

Boomerang, you have been in exile too long, my friend. The significance of coffee is that is has a 40 years 'warranty/guarantee of friendship'.

As Humanist is likely to be driving (I think) Iceman is also ensuring that Humanist does not fall foul of the TC authorities.
