So every time I have the feeling that i need to bring my stomach upside down i just go to a real Luna park. A small Luna park action took place in this thread as well which messed by stomach and came from Mr-from-ng and VP (who let me down one more time) most of all...but what you can do! Kids need to play!

I really enjoy your story and thank you for sharing so much with us. You really proved what i was saying all this time. That there are TC all over the island...and the come from north for shopping, work or to have fun or even live south. They do not have any problem and all the government offices have Turkish speaking people to help all the TC.

You mention the obsession with the flag from the TC...well in one of my visits to the north part I had my younger brother with me. When we went home he wanted to draw...can you guess what made big impression to him and he wanted to put it down? The Turkish flags!!! And his comment after I ask where did he saw it...everywhere!

The lack of English signs and people who speak English north of the island is really an issue. As for the driving yes both sides feel like they own the road too apart from their cars.

Thank you for sharing photos and feelings with us. You made a lot of people jealous about your visit to the island.

Lena

Don't be too upset with mr-FROM-ng. He and Miltiades are good friends and of the same temperament it seems...

As for VP...I am amazed at how civil he keeps it sometimes with the attacks he has to face.

I prefer a sweet tongued GC rater than a foul mouthed TC.

Whats that got to do with Lenas post Zan !
But you are right that MR-from-NG and I are good friends , do not necessarily agree on everything but on the issue of "Cypriot " we agree , and have respect for each other .There are at least one thousand MR-from-NG that are my friends , they know where I stand and they know I dont bullshit. You have , no doubt , have gathered that I class you as one of my friends now and although we disagree on major issues I will never treat you the way I treated Belanos or even VP because you have a good heart and I respect that.

WE CAUGHT YOU ONCE AGAIN IDIOT. AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

Do you think we forgot your numerous contradictions of the past? Do you think we forgot the person called Viewpoint was totally confused on what she was saying one day and what the next? We caught her on numerous occasions not even remembering what she has said the previous day...The reason? More than one person using the same nick.
Ask birkibrisli. Ask Kikapu. Ask Pitsilos. The majority of forum members knew it.

Go back, and see for yourself. It' been more than 6 months the FEMALE person behind the nick Viewpoint IS NOT REPLYING TO ANY OF MY POSTS. She even boasted about it in this forum.

You just violated HER RULE, IDIOT....
:P :P :P :P

I remember tthe same thing with a guy named Pyro...One day his English was perfect and then the next it was absolute rubbish...         They sacked Pyro two and now we have a better organised crew........

Oh thank you for praising me. It would be more helpful to tell me when exactly my English was perfect.
Was it when I praise your Shakespeare type of writing, or when I praise your salad type of writing? :P :P :P :P

@ Miltaides and Deniz

Lena seemed upset about the language used Miltiades so I was just making light of it for her sake. Others were offended by it also but I take it as part of the Forum. People get upset and tend to get aggressive as we all have from time to time. I actually like the freedom to act and swear as adults at times and this Forum seems to be the only place you can do that. I appreciate the rules on other forums as well but if everyone is going to take a few incidents of name calling to heart then we will be spending more time arguing about that rather than the issues. I have been called many names and try not to respond depending on the time of the month

Thanks for the sentiments on my being of good heart Miltiades and we can both thank Mitch for that and how I have come to understand you more as well.

Come on people....Lets not get carried away with a few swear words...I don't mean that it should be a free for all but when it happens it soon passes and normality resumes...I am more concerned about some of the more venomous meanings in some posts than I am with swearing. I watched a whole program on the BBC about the word "C**T" with Germain Greer. She made a good job of reclaiming the word for women....I thought that they would bleep the word out but it was used over and over again for the adults that were watching. It was quite refreshing to be treated as an adult by the BBC for a change.

Please carry on. Use your freedom of speech then. It will only be a dialogue between people of the same taste.

I didn't ask you to join in Deniz.........I didn't say that you have to take it as the norm either. I did not join in....Well maybe one post but I find it no less offensive than some of the posts made by Kikapu using the word "Partitionist" in the manner he does. Have to go to work now......

Zan this is utter rubbish . . . stop trying to minimise the disgusting postings and use of female body parts by MR-from-NG and VP.

Even worse, they have both specifically attacked me in this way, and that is as far as I am concerned, the sort of behaviour that in the real world belongs to rapists and abusers.

It has effectively made me minimise my input in the Cyprob threads . . . for the moment Until I rethink revenge.

It is to my credit that I did not resort to complaining to admin. about their posts, as I was well within my rights to do so; it was direct abuse at one individual, me.

It was thanks to Nikitas and Kifeas that their comments were mitigated by reasonable responses, as well as my one attempt at a show of bravado response.

If they care about Cyprus than they should be here to discuss Cyprus solutions and not get some perverted kicks out of insulting women.

You do a good job of making excuses for your unfortunate bunch of miscreants Zan . . . but be careful you are not judged by the friends you keep.
