Hey shah, the bastards were some shadow government by Talat and Enver and some holdovers from the young Turk party. Nobody is accusing the whole Turkish nation, just admit you had your "nazis" too.
Even Ataturk admitted those from the young Tuks killed millions of Turkish Christan subjects, and you know very well some of those of the young Turks were tried and sentensed to death.

Ok so what is the problem, it still doesn't make it genocide, plus you cannot blame a country that was barely around at the time

There wasn't even 1.5 million Armenian people living in Ottoman Turkey to begin with. This is proven without a shadow of a doubt...there is no proof to suggest there were that amount of Armenians to begin with.

The numbers were much less. Even if it was 600.000 people that were killed...if you were around at those times and you witnesses even 3000 people being murdered it would seem like genocide let alone 600.000.

But 1.5 million is way of the scale...a bit like those pictures snake_and_the_crane posted of TCs saying 20.000 murdered by GCs.....It's a fabrication for the sake of political gain!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well thats the strategy i guess, as long as you can stop people from investigating you can call anything you like and sadly enough ppl buy it too :/

I don't know Pyro but how can it be 1.5 million when there wasn't even 1.5 million Armenians in Ottoman Turkey to begin with? All the census' of those times state this....Not just the Turkish but the British, the French etc etc...

Where did they all appear from?

Listen mate if you want to find out about something, but have made your mind up already then there is no point in trying since you've already come to a conclusion...When you're trying to find out what happened you are looking for things to support your own viewpoint, that you have made before you even looked, so you'll obviously find things that support that viewpoint to justify your stance.

I don't see no point in trying to discuss this issue on the Cyprus-Forum....
