Revised Web Site

Postby devil » Sat Mar 05, 2005 4:59 pm

I have revised the Cyprus: the Environment web site. The changes include major modifications to nearly all the old pages and some new essays (Electric Waste, Earthquakes, Peak oil). I have also added a forum, for discussions on any matter related to the environment or energy.

In particular, I draw your attention to the Tourism page, as I pose a question as to whether tourism in Cyprus can survive peak oil and, if so, in what conditions.

All comments would be welcome.

From a very quick scan of the site it looks like a useful and commnedanble effort - so I commend you for it. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the compliment. If you keep it up, I won't be able to get through the doorway! :)

Some more small updates (biggest modif on the Electricity page at http://www.cypenv.org/Files/electricity.htm )- and I've changed the forum from a Google Group (even worse than Yahoo Groups, and that's saying something), to a phpBB set of forums at http://www.bnellis.com/phpBB2/index.php (similar to this one). If anyone is interested in either the Environment or Energy issues, please come and discuss your views (registration needed to post).
