We have war today and for the last 33 years. The war between Cyprus and Turkey, since Turkey is occupying land that belongs to Cyprus. What we have now is cease fire, not peace. So get your facts straight.

This is the state of Cyprus today. Would you like to be on holiday in a country where shots could be exchanged at the drop of a hat?

Cyprus is a dangerous place and should be avoided at all cost. Book your dream holiday in Turkey or Greece and enjoy the sun, sea and security they offer. ENJOY.

Exactly so all o you thinking of going to the north cyprus ( TRNC ) think twice... thats exactly how it is over there

the south million of tourists come and have fun love it and go home wanting to come back ;)

Don't worry babe we only cater to Turks over in the North :P

Oh please - as if the tourists care about the little power struggles going on in this forum! They read about never ending sun, lovely people and beaches. The politics is after all only a very small part of the whole of Cyprus and good job too or the island would be very poor. (ducks for cover)

So you have the inside info and are in fact a CF spy!

Holidays are for escapism, people will steer well away from this section if they want a holiday here.

Is that what I'm saying here? Putting words in my mouth seems to be a recurring theme tonight... :?

Correction... jumping to conclusions is more appropriate.
