I agree - the truth is : let's fuck over the greek cypriots cos there's not many of them anyway and we don't want those crazy muslims in turkey getting too cozy with allah 8)

Why not just take a step backand listent o what TCs are saying and try just a little to compromise and you will see the results, but GCs are to pig headed and will never compromise as they feel this is defeat. But the real loss will come when they realize their actions have lost them north forever.

What is it that you give without being forced to or politicial benefit...if its so much then try stopping it and see the backlash from the international community and what they will do.

I dont know who the writers are, but from the writing it is obvious they know nothing of the area, very little about EU workings and nothing at all about the nature of the problem

Just a quick rundown on points of their ignorance, that Papadopoulos proposed abandoning a fderation in favor of turning TCs into a minority.

Notice how they mention Turkey opening ports to Greek shipping.

The obligation to open ports to Cypriot (not Greek)ships is implementation of an already assumed obligation towards the EU not Cyprus.

Cyprus has not made any negative moves within the EU against Turkey's accession process.

THere are other inaccuracies but there is no need to go into that. These two guys are either fulfilling a contract or were too lazy to find material after the long weekend and just wrote any old garbage that came to them. Ignore them. There will be many articles like this one in the future. It is reminiscent of the 80s when other colleagues of theirs had taken on contract the defamation of the Papandreou government in Greece. Every single article would start with the words "socialist Greece" and go on to defame and ridicule. Fuck' em.

Well actually, I think the lack of dialogue with TCs is shocking. It may be that Turkey pulls the strings in the north but to limit dialogue with our compatriots is plain wrong.
