Ladies & Gentlemen... we have a confession!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Only god knows the true spelling of Ahmen GR.......

Many many more until he is cured actually. His condition is termed as "Narcissistic personality disorder" in medicine. There are three clusters to which he might fall into but that is difficult to identify without further consultation. The patients typically lead an unrecognized life in their community and suffer from the lack of ability to mingle with their surrounding. They are obsessed with self-importance and constantly feel the need to be acknowledged.

I was suprised to see that Wikipedia has a good read on this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissist ... y_disorder

I was going to use my own resources to give more insight on the diagnosis of this medical condition but the link has a pretty good one actually - read it and you`ll understand better what I am talking about:

1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance
2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by other special people
4. requires excessive admiration
5. strong sense of entitlement
6. takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
7. lacks empathy
8. is often envious or believes others are envious of him or her
9. arrogant behavior

what a responce... 1 tcs vote = 5 gsc votes...

you are right thanks for pointing this out to us...you moron

fucking hell...whats next?

we are all born cypriots, lets cut he crap with the greek and turkish bullshit...

I think you completely misunderstood my point! The pictures in question are very old (1878) and we were discussing them a few weeks ago. GR is undermining the Turkish Cypriot identity hence why I said look at the pictures and just think that we'd already been there for over 300 years when they were taken!

Now I would like you to please tell me what it feels like when that happens T_C!

Would they be from that obscure "library" from parts unknown in Turkey Murataga?

AHEM AHEM! I know very well how it feels when that happens GR since when I do it I'm usually doing it to counter your posts!

Which is why the last time we had this conversation...when you said to me something about me going to istanbul with a loudspeaker to tell the people they came in a ship, I turned around and said "If you think about it, it's actually you whos on the loudspeaker. And you can't even handle a dose of your own medicine" :P :P

I don't see it as a victory GR.

The truth the vast majority of TCs and Gcs where peasants not long ago, just 100 years ago, who were constantly suffering from hunger, and deceases. Education was a luxury, as for new clothes or new shoes, just forget it, maybe once every 2 years. The rich were those who could eat meat perhaps once a month. As for sex life, well, considering every attempt would almost certainly add to the already existing dozen of hungry children...

Why was this state of affairs any different to what was happening in Victorian times in Britain or any country in the World 100 years ago?

Cyprus was not unique in being poor and having a big peasant population.

That’s because both you and Nikitas have the combined IQ of a tree Shrew and that’s why you can’t get passed the word “peasant”.

The TC confessions came from the thread… “When was the TC community created in Cyprus?” …and the answer to that is… “dumped and neglected in Cyprus by the Ottomans”!

Sure peasants, armed ones ;)

According to this TC website: http://www.cypnet.co.uk/ncyprus/people/ ... index.html the nucleus of the TC community were the Ottoman soldiers.

Following the defeat of the Venetians in 1571, Lala Mustafa Pasha, the Turkish Commander of the land forces in Cyprus, chose, before departing for Istanbul, 12,000 foot soldiers to remain on the island for the formation of the defensive garrison of Famagusta, Nicosia and Kyrenia. In addition, he distributed 4,000 cavalry men among the localities of Les Salines (Larnaca), Limassol, Paphos, Kyrenia, and elsewhere. The military forces were complemented by an additional 20,000 decommissioned soldiers and 2,000 cavalry remaining as colonists. These people as a whole formed the original nucleus of the fledgling Turkish-Cypriot community whose members were of Turkish origin, and by the firman (decree) of Sultan Selim II they were given fiefs for the provision of their homes, and sustenance. Steps were also taken to assist all soldiers with dependents on the mainland to bring their wives and children to Cyprus.

Here is a reminder of what Lala Mustafa Pasha did along with the "nucleolus of the TC community":

Throughout the period of Venetian rule, Ottoman Turks raided and attacked at will. In 1489, the first year of Venetian control, Turks attacked the Karpas Peninsula, pillaging and taking captives to be sold into slavery. In 1539 the Turkish fleet attacked and destroyed Limassol. Fearing the ever-expanding Ottoman Empire, the Venetians had fortified Famagusta, Nicosia, and Kyrenia, but most other cities were easy prey.

In the summer of 1570, the Turks struck again, but this time with a full-scale invasion rather than a raid. About 60,000 troops, including cavalry and artillery, under the command of Lala Mustafa Pasha landed unopposed near Limassol on July 2, 1570, and laid siege to Nicosia. In an orgy of victory on the day that the city fell--September 9, 1570--20,000 Nicosians were put to death, and every church, public building, and palace was looted.
