One must ask by looking into the facts of history and present :

Why have the GCs never developed a policy that separated them from the political aspirations of Greece? Why did GCs never develop their own flag or symbol until 1960 and never their own language if they are so different from Greece/Greeks? Why have the GCs wanted to become Greece so badly - to the extent where they butchered the TCs that were in the way? Is it a coincidence that the GCs watch the same TV channels, listen to the same music, have essentially the same educational system, eat essentially the same food, wave the Cypriot flag (usurped) next to Greece’s at every border station visible from the North? If the GCs as they claim to be different than Greeks/Greece, why do they have no policy or international perspective different from that of Greece? Why has the House of the RoC, usurped by the GCs, made it her official policy to unite with Greece when it was established on a treaty that guaranteed that it wouldn’t (see resolution passed by the House of Representatives Journal on June 26 1967)? How can these be the political aspirations, lifestyle, stance and objectives of a people other than that belonging to Greece? Are there any other people on the face of this planet with the same political aspirations, lifestyle, stance and objectives regarding Greece and if not is this a coincidence?

Will the GCs end their hypocrisy in claiming to be some people/country other than that of Greeks/Greece? Will they understand and abide by the fact that that Cyprus is not Hellenic and never will be?

Murataga the Cypriot people do not have to apologise to you or Turkey for the fact they are the end-result of a Hellenic History.

However, just as Humans have evolved into what they are today without embarrassment for all the species they once were and are now still related to; so Cyprus has co-evolved along with Greece into the separate but related countries they proudly are today.

What Great Nation does Turkey aspire to have evolved from and still be related to, Barbarians, Huns or Ottomans?

Nobody has ever denied the influence and strong ties to Greece so you haven’t told us anything new here and by the same token you have failed to mention the similar TC influence and strong ties to Turkey.

However, all the above is mostly in the past with the exception of the “TRNC” and Cyprus is truly heading for spiritual independence if you like as Cypriot nationalism is very much on the rise.

I now reverse the question and ask that you explain why the TC community is still where the GC was at 30-40 years ago? (ENOSIS etc)

When I see mass protests against the Greek flags and the Greek national anthem at sporting events being used by the occupants of the "RoC" and the man that fought for ENOSIS out of office, then I will take your remarks as Cypriots seriously. The rest...Palavra palavra palavra!!!!!
