Zan, read your Constitution again. It looks like a whole lot of pity, what you say; it is not the world, or the UN, that makes us "Turks" or "Greeks". My description is historically much more accurate. You want to find excuses for either party, that neither had goodwill, mired in their own agendas, they wallowed like others, for their "Nation", when it is a State they should have been building, together.

Why nobody answers the questions?

When was the TC community created?

I wonder if T_C who has access to some Ottoman archives he can tell us if there is any reference about "Turkish Cypriots" in their documents. (since obviously thats the earliest possible that the TC community could have been created)

1960..Zurich agreement...Though not the actual date of creation a date in which it was put on paper and signed.....Have a look at your own documents. I was born in 1960...A fully fledged Turkish Cypriot of the only real republic of united Cyprus that has ever existed..Shame you replaced it with this joke of a version you have now....Enough numbers for you?????

Also I remind you my other question: "Do TCs celebrate the 1571 Ottoman invasion of Cyprus?" I am sure those that live in the occupied areas should know.

I don't know how much more simply I can put it for you to understand what I am saying Piratis but here goes.........I said that we were made official by the Zurich agreement and not made a part of Cyprus then...Our birthright takes care of that little insignificant question......

The reason I ask these questions is that I see a lot of inconsistencies. For example you refer to the Ottomans as being some others, VP is telling us that TCs were once the rulers of Cyprus, in the article you gave is mentioned that about 40.000 Ottoman soldiers that invaded Cyprus "formed the original nucleus of the fledgling Turkish-Cypriot community", and yet other times TCs claim no relation to those Ottomans and their crimes against Cypriots.

Of course all that history would be irrelevant if we had all agreed that regardless of what happened in the past, today we should create a normal democratic Cyprus without racist descriminations.

However the TCs are trying to blame GCs because of what a tiny minority of GCs did in the past, totally forgetting their own share in the crimes during the exact same period, and that the "nucleus of the Turkish-Cypriot community" was formed by those soldiers that butchered 10s of thousands of Cypriots.

So I find it highly hypocritical from those TCs that reject the proposal to leave the past behind and finally have democracy with no racist discriminations, and are instead stuck in the past claiming that more or less they have been the innocent victims(!!!) and we are the evils(!!!) and that gives them the right to violate our human and democratic rights today and in the future.
