Last Saturday the Green Commandos of the University of Nicosia led by Nathanael Andreou attempted to clean-up the Geri area .You can visit the site to view the photos of these young people while working and having fun as well.

The photos were not taken by me but by them.

And it is good fun! Well, at least very satisfying. When in the UK I used to do some of the beach clean ups down in the West Country and, many moons before that, helped clean up the Kennet and Avon Canal prior to it opening up - removing the supermarket trolleys and old prams!
