Yet another scandal in "RoC" & TPaps name pops

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Oh, I hope I haven't consfused you guys. Commissions are payable, and you can ever sue the company you represent if you appear as their agent for legally acceptable bussiness deals. In fact it is common practice to have everything in writting in these cases (except of course bribery deals). However Commercial Agents are by law excluded in Military purchases...

Now you will tell me that it was not Turkeys intervention which killed off enosis. Well I never.

Piratis wrote:denizaksulu, Hitler invaded foreign countries, killed thousands of people and violated the rights of many more. Thats exactly what the Turks are doing in Cyprus.

In fact when Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia he used the exact same excuse that the Turks used to invade Cyprus, to supposdedly protect the German minority there

After suffering under the oppression of the British, Turkish and other foreigners for centuries, don't you think you should have allowed Cypriots to finally rule our island in a democratic way and take our own decisions, instead of trying to continue forcing us your own will?

The Cyprus problem is that of foreigners oppressing the Cypriot people. And you are right, it didn't start in 1974, but many centuries before. And it will end when those foreigners piss of from our country and allow Cypriots to rule their island in a democratic way.

Sorry to confuse you Piratis. 'Who are you kidding Mr. Hitler' is the title theme for a wartime comedy. Your rantings, justified or not reminded me of the shenanigans going on there.

The biggest and worst by far pre election fabrication was made by DIKO, the President's party, some years ago, when they published "evidence" that Klerides was a Nazi spy during the 1940-1945 war. So to listen to DIKO's boss lecture about political culture can probably make Piratis's hair stand on end.

By the way, why did Papadopoulos's spin doctor advised that recent accusations should be allowed to fizzle out without much fuss?

No Deniz, it wasn't quite straight forward! In which way was Enosis alive in 1974, to have been killed by the Turkish invasion? Do you mean to say that Enosis was about to materialise in 1974, just because a handful of coupists that did not represent any more than 10% of the GC society, had forced Makarios out of the presidential palace and had announced the "appointed" of some illegal and illegitimate puppet "president" and a puppet "cabinet;" without the approval of the vast majority of the GCs and even when the legitimate President Makarios left Cyprus and went to the UN to ask for the non-recognition and condemnation of the Junta and the coupists!

Is this how Enosis (union) of one country with another can be achieved? Is it that little your knowledge and understanding of international politics, law and affairs? Could a mere declaration by a handful of coupists (outside the will and approval of the people of a country, and with the elected president addressing the UN SC against such a move;) constitute enough material for the international community and the UN to approve and recognise Enosis? So much you know about international political affairs and law? Or unless you are with the impression that the coupists would have chained Cyprus on some gigantic ships and then drag and stick it right as an extension of mainland Greece or some other Greek island?

Think about it Deniz, you and the rest of the brainwashed and diluted TCs! You have "declared" your own so called state since 1983, under the name of "TRNC!" Did you get a state? Did anyone recognise you? Does anyone accept that north Cyprus constitutes a separate country, or in fact the entire international community continue to regard and accept the area under the sovereignty of the RoC and under Turkish occupation? Since when is it all up to what an illegitimate and illegal state of affairs -an illegal regime so to say, will declare?

Furthermore, how many weeks more do you think the coupist regime would have lasted, before surrendering power back to Makarios after all the international condemnation and moves against it that would have followed Makario's resort to the UN? In view of the fact that the Greek Junta which was behind it, already had lost all credibility among Europe and the rest of the world and was already under pressure to surrender power back to the Greek people (in fact a few months earlier to the 1974 coup, it was even kicked out of the council of Europe;) and in view of the non-cooperation of the majority of the GC society (especially after seen Makarios being alive and orchestrating the anti-coupist campaign from abroad;) chances are it wouldn’t last more than a month –had the Turkish invasion did not take place and bring it to an end in just a weeks time!

Aparently, it is a big pill for the majority of you TCs to sallow, to accept the obvious fact that Turkey did not come to Cyprus “to save you” (as a matter of fact the coupist did not turn a single gun against your community, and were not so stupid to attempt such a thing, if we accept that their motive was to facilitate the materialisation and recognition of Enosis by the UN;) but actually because it (Turkey) needed an excuse to invade and occupy part of Cyprus so that it would bring it under it suzerainty, for her own geo-strategic ambitions! So much was her passion eagerness to secure the setting of a foot in Cyprus, that she did not want to spear a moment of time to allow the international community to take any measure and /or action against the coupists, just in case the coupists would have been compelled to “prematurely” surrender power back to Makarios and extinguish in this way the cheap pre-text that she (Turkey) all of suddenly had found in her way!

PS (to the above: ) It took a single man (Makarios) 4 days (by plain) to arrive to NY city and deliver a speech at the UN on Friday 19/07/1974 at 11 pm! It is estimated by all military experts that for any country (including even the US) to perform a military operation of the type Turkey attempted in Cyprus in 1974, it takes at least two weeks of advanced preparation, before attempting it! So much was Turkey’s rush and eagerness to step foot in Cyprus, that it nearly beat Makario's flying journey to the UN, in transferring 40,000 troops and 500 tanks (accross the sea by boats) and landing them in Cyprus! Of course, we all know that Turkey was already prepared (its invading troops were almost sleeping in the transport ships themselves, and with their boots on) waiting impatiently not to lose the chance of (any, no matter how loose) “pre-text” would appear!

Look at it from our viewpoint, 11 years of suffering and still no solution the last drop was the coup which gave Turkey opportunity to step in resolve things her own way, thank god she was ready as in 2 weeks we could have been history...the risk itself sends shivers down our spines you can never understand this as you are not a TC whether or not their real aim was to save the TCs is irrelevent they arrived and got rid of the dangers and explosive situation we were facing not only in 1974 but since 1963.

What on earth are you talking about? The military junta was far more concerned about the Makarios supporters and eliminating communists.

They TOTALLY ignored the TC community and the very fact that not a single TC was arrested, hurt, or killed during their operations is evidence of that so quit fabricating scenarios!
