I am sure he has a very good manager...may be better than Beckham..I dont think he deserves where he is now..There are brilliant scientists in Greece..but only this guy appears on the channels when it is about Greek_Turkish rel. As if he is the spokesman for both governments

Professor Sarris teaches at the Pantio University. He was born and educated in Istanbul and of all the Greek personalities I have heard speak about Greek Turkish relations he is the only one who can at least read the Turkish press. That last ability alone places him somewhat above the rest. He is also a long standing member of the old EDHK party, a center right moderate political party which is no longer active. He was also active in Turkish politics befoe moving to Greece. His forthriight views make him unpopular with the modern pinko liberal political set who like their leftism mixed with a dose of ecology, a dash of international goodwill and a generous dose of servility. Oddly enough, despite his view, Turkish intellectuals like him more than they like the pinkos (so my sources tell me and they are reliable).

If you had been insulted in an article in the major newspaper and you were refused the chance to respond, then you too would scream. Despite the histrionics Neoklis Sarris is more democratic than many of the pinko set that try to vilify him. And no, I do not know the man personally, so the expression of support is more because I know who wrote against and what they wrote.
