democracy in greece

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Zan, the report you quote is outdated, it is not only written in 1992, but also most of the criticism is based on data from the seventies and eighties. Todat there are no issues regarding property, education or religion. I accept and agree that the minority had problems some years ago, although those problems were NOTHING compared to what the now extinct Greek minority was facing at the same time in Turkey

I am just trying to point out that the whites have all faded to a dirty grey throughout alexISS. The EU has helped Greece quite a lot.....Turkey will have to fall in line also.

The EU sets the standards, Zan, it's the State and the people themselves that have to work in order to meet them

With the Greek community all but extinguished in Turkey there is no corresponding diplomatic facility required.

There is also the idiotic policy of the past, applied mostly by Karavanades, who could not tell the difference between religion and nationality. That policy pushed the Pomaks and the Gypsies into the Turkish camp.

What exactly are you guys complaining about.....You constantly boast about democracy and this is part of the system....How these people have been treated and why they are the way they are does not come into the equation I suppose....Trying to knock out the Turkishness from everything they do has got nothing to do with it I suppose..

There are similar rallies in the UK and even the "RoC" i believe against foreigners.....How do you deal with them....People doing all they can to get votes and you are surprised....

ZAN,Beleive me you would be very happy man if you had the freedom these people have in Trhake in N.Cyprus also.Their problem is their fanatc close relation with grave wolfs -but we do not worry, Greece can easily handle such fanatics even lieving them to shout.
