I'm staying in Baspinar at the moment, and there's loads of ancient water channels running around the streets - they're dry now, but when (if anyone can remember) did the water stop flowing through the path and roadside aquaducts and get piped to the tanks? Was it 52/53 when the main water system was installed or later?

those tap water installed at 52.
on the tapwater tanks ER1952 means they are pointing out Elizabeth II crawn wear.
İf u are still in Lapta try to find man called Esat Fait Muhtaroğlu.
He is the man from Lapta that he wrote a book called ESKİ LAPTA (OLD LAPİTOS) u can get informayion from him.His book is in Turkish.İt is very interesting and usefull. i wished i can translate in English and share the old Lapta with our forum members. May be u can do it when u get the information from him.
