Never actually understood the reason why people like to generalizing things. In all countries you can find good and bad people, pretty and ugly people. Everything has to do with the way a person was raised by his/her family, and the nation of a person is not responsible if he is an asshole or she is a bitch (sorry for the language). For you people coming from countries outside Cyprus seem to the opposite or us strange and impolite. The same happens to you for us. Did you try to go in France, Germany or Italy??? If you don’t know the language you are soooooooo in trouble. Everyone speak English but no one accepts to talk to a tourist, but, into their own languages. Is this polite? Is it polite or human to see people dieing in the street and don’t care? Come on you people. Stop criticism for a small island that has suffered invasions for hundreds of years, from different countries and with different troubles caused by those invasions each time. Try to understand that its a small community here, there are villages that have 10 persons living there. Young men in Cyprus actually do not care if the woman walking in front of them is Cypriot, or British or French, black, yellow or green. We just see a woman and if we like her we will try to make contact. There are exceptions that can make troubles but very few of them. Anyway here you can walk at night without being roped, raped and killed and I think this mean a lot.
