Well, let me present a woman point of view.

I'm from Poland - blue eyes, pale, blond - quite exotic for Cypriot men, I guess. Quite many times I was passed in Cyprus (I'm here at least twice a year for both business and holidays) but I would never treat it as a sign of Cypriot desperation.

And just a short comment about Cypriot women: I believe it's a point of view matter for all my male Cypriot friends admit Cyprus girls are quite... ugly...

Nice polish lady that is very unfair the comment you made about cypriot women, maybe you have been admiring yourself in the mirror too long and think you are the most beautiful women in the world BUT AS A CYPRIOT MAN I SEE THE CYPRIOT WOMEN AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT PEOPLE ON THE PLANET and the few polish women i have met in my life i found cold and self obsessed and not worth a wet w**k, but as the old cypriot saying goes:

FOR EVERY BEAUTIFUL WOMEN THERE IS A MAN ALREADY FED UP OF HER.


And obviousley you get a lot of attention from cypriot men but then again i guess when its offered on a plate..........

Secondly, I don't comment Cypriot women beauty - just refer to what my Cypriot friends say (by the way: why there are so many Russian girls married to Cypriots?).

Next: I'm not very pleased with your xenofobic comments on Polish women (exactly as I wasn't with those on Cypriot men) as well as sarcastic remarks on myself.

And last but not least: I guess you were unsuccessful with the Polish girls you met, werent' you?

Actually i was successful i just did not marry them but going back to your remarks i felt you was degrading cypriot women and you do not need to do that soas to stick up for cypriot men, we are capable of sticking up for ourselves.

As for your so called friends comments, do you really believe they were telling the truth or just agreable with you for whatever reasons, now do give that some thought.

Last but not least i can be sarcastis but xenophobic is an extreme assesment and very wrong, i like all people i just have a low opinion of people who think they are better than others hence your statement i am blond, blue eyed...........etc. you obviousley get a lot of attention from cypriot men and it has gone to your head

i don't want to add fuel to this debate, but i will say one thing.

it's a shame a man must disrespect his own mother in order to compliment another woman. for, this is exactly what you have accused your "friends" of doing. the fact that you exhibit such immodesty without much thought or sensitivity is an "ugly" character trait.

i'm not calling you ugly, only the way in which you conducted yourself in one of the above posts.

being beautiful is so much more. it's having values, faith, hope, insight and passion.

Beauty doesn't discriminate against race. it realises that to be truly beautiful your thoughts must compliment your exterior.
