Hello all the way from New Zealand.I am Aidan Work.I am the Owner-Administrator of the British Commonwealth Numismatic Forum, which can be found here; http://www.freepowerboards.com/bcnumismatics .
If you are interested in joining, you are more than welcome to,but please be aware that there is a Real Names Policy in force to weed out any spammers who may try to register. This means that registering under a nickname is not permitted under any circumstances!
Numismatics is the study of coins, but the study of banknotes is called notaphily, which is also a branch of numismatics.
There has always been a very strong interest in the banknotes & coins of Cyprus from the British Commonwealth collectors, not only those in Cyprus, but also in other countries, especially in British Commonwealth member states such as New Zealand & Great Britain. The demand for Cypriot banknotes & coins will continue to strengthen after the change over to the Euro on New Year's Day 2008.
If you have any questions about numismatics, please feel free to ask.
Aidan.
