If you are from Cyprus, then you are a Cypriot, and if not, what do you call yourself from a place that you are not from, which is the "TRNC".
This is not a trick question, so lets hear the truth.
I am from the Cypriot state of the TRNC/KKTC and that means I am a Cypriot by any stretch of the imagination...I have no need for someone like you to come along and tell me the prerequisite to my Cypriotness and I certainly do not need a hostile "RoC" to do that with it's agenda firmly nailed to the wall.
You can, however, sing your heart out to the Greek national anthem at the next sporting event and pat yourself on the back as being the definitive Cypriot because that arrogance is only valid up to the border with the TRNC/KKTC. You are not even valid in the no go zone....
I am certainly not from the "RoC" and they do not want me...It is as simple as that...They will only accept fully those that call themselves TC but are actually GC and probably Christian to boot...I know who I am mate....It is you that is confused or are not showing us your true colors.....
Then you must have at least 70,000 "traitors" living amongst you in the "TRNC/KKTC" who are RoC citizens, and they do so by proudly holding a RoC Passports. Don't you think it is time to kick those "traitors" out of your country of "TRNC/KKTC" Zan.??

The fact that you mentioned the two words "RoC" and proud in the same sentence is witness to that. We have a right to those passports and the rights of EU membership through the illegal "RoC" through the "RoC" agreement and the conditions of its joining put forth by the EU it self. We are not claiming anything that is not rightfully ours and are not receiving any charity from the "RoC"...They made their bed and have to know lye in it. Without that they would not have been allowed to join the EU so one part of their lies has to have the side effect of not being able to take our EU rights away from us...If they do then you will be surprised at how quickly the money will be diverted into building equal services in the TRNC/KKTC. That is exactly what the "RoC" do not want because it will mean recognition without there say..So stop all this waving a carrot in front of our faces crap.....We are entitled to everything that the GCs are and there is nothing they can do about it....Embargoes with holes are bound to leak
That's fine, that it is your right for all those benefits, and by the way, you are not forced to take them. You can just simply refuse anything that has to do with the RoC, and the fact that 70,000 are holding a RoC citizenship and Passports, as well as thousands others use many other services in the RoC as well as employment, goes to show you that I'm not the only one who holds onto his Cypriot heritage, and I don't even have a Passport issued by the RoC. So I'll ask you again, are you going to accuse all those TC's who have RoC Passports, and work in the RoC and use services in the RoC as "traitor" to your country of "TRNC/KKTC", because surely, no self respecting TC who denies the existence of the RoC can possible accept all the benefits and not it's obligations.

The truth is that I have no problem with what these people are doing and I would do the same....When someone offers you the chance to feed and educate and care for their health after another party has had you under siege for decades then take the offer....That has no reference to believing in the "RoC" mate...None what so ever....Only you can see that as a victory
