Jerry well said mate .. i worked for the bank of england before joining HM FORCES .. yes it is predicted that economic slowd down is coming both in the UK .EUROPE ,US ...this will effect cyprus too

D.T ... is in banking etc ...and doesnt beleive me ....or doesnt want to .......cyprus is not ready for the Euro ....

...but the idiotic Brits (and others) will still afford to buy in the North, legal or not. I wished they banned the sale of any properties to foreigners with no blood ties to Cyprus. Its the pesky developers who are carrying out the real 'Rape' of our once beautiful island. Lets try and stop this worsening, for Christs or Allahs sake.

i can also put you into frame .... with the guys i worked with in BANK OF ENGLAND AND WORLD BANK ...

Seriously ... you cant see a slow down ... ? you know as well as i do ...cyprus is tiny ...the economy is easily effectted .....i am willing to predict problems from april to end of the year ... next year for food suppliers and employment /project investments for small to medium companies ...

can see a slow down but not a recession. We're too small to have a reession. Most that will happen is a couple of fat cats go under due to margin calls on their collateral and the govt might have to bail one of the small banks out (hellenic or universal) but they need to go anyway with Eurobank and Citibank coming in.
