You can start by telling us some basic facts like where you are and what size/type dish you have and which channels have you lost...

Have you spoken with the guy that installed your system? That'd be a good place to start :)

I'm in Coral Bay. It's a 2.7m dish. It's worked fine for 3 yrs, save for when the weathers been really bad. Ive lost pretty much everything bar Sky News, which is ok for the first 15 mins until they repeat it again ! It's showing no signal. Checked the connectors at both ends - they seem ok. I wondered if the box had had a fit & just needs setting up again or something similar.

Mic, I agree with you - he's not about till tomorrow and I was just keen to sort it myself if you guys knew of any basics. Thanks.

Check for a spider or other wildlife in the LNB.

When I lose my channels I UNPLUG the box and reconnect it after a few mins - that usualoly does the trick - other than that I can't help

Sorted it ! There was a tree growing to the side of it and it was pushing on the dish. Now i've chopped it down the dish must be pointing back at the satellite. Just show's they don't need moving much to lose the signal. Thanks for all your help. :D
