Whats everyone doing next week?

Postby EasyE » Mon Oct 01, 2007 12:04 am

Well, let me tell you something.

I start my new job in the morning, nervous as hell but it will be good fun. I'm a fully qualified dolphin trainer. This may sound funny to some of you but it's bloody hard work. Having to talk and communicate with dolphins is harder than you think. The dolphins I will be training will eventually goto Disney World.....

What about you lot?

EasyE, you can count yourself lucky in that you are about to start training your dolphins,my next week (or weeks, or months) will be spent in attempting to 'Un-train' my African Grey parrot who was left in the care of friends whilst I was away for a few days.

I now have a situation where the usual "'Bollocks" to everything has been converted to "Bollocks, that's a naughty word" to everything, can you imagine ?.

"Good Morning Rocky"........"Bollocks, that's a naughty word, Good Morning", what will the neighbours think ?.

I leave my African Grey with people that have a Macaw.

Every time we return we have to put up with the parrot copying the macaws screech for at least a couple of weeks plus a few Greek swear words added to his vocabulary ~~

Eliko ~~ they say that if a parrot doesn't hear a word for a while ( about 30 days ) it forgets it ~ but in my own experience it hasn't been so as mine is still repeating words it learned over a year ago.
