London Times Obituary of the late Mr. Common Sense

'Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He Will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
why the early bird gets the Worm;
Life isn't always fair; and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend
more Than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children,
are in Charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place.
Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate;
teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
Job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly
children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental
consent to administer sun lotion or an Elastoplast to a student; but
could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to
have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became
Contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better
treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you
couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the
burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in
her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his Wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He
is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, I Want It Now,
Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If
you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do
nothing.'

And a little extra........................

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600
Employees and has the following statistics?

29 have been accused of spouse abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

19 have been accused of writing bad cheque's

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

4 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year

Which organization is this?

It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that
cranks Out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of
us in line.

ALL politicians are corrupt power crazed unimportant insecure individuals.

They're like the filth (coppers) and traffic wardens without uniforms.

And Labour are the worst our poor country has ever had inflicted on it!

The Microphone, your (little extra) didn't make any mention of those involved in crimes against public decency,I suppose that is because they are mostly ALL at it (one way or THE OTHER).

Paddy was right when he stated the the country is ruled by "Peers Queers and Racketeers" :wink:

Kafenes, No you would be wrong, but I do not blame all our ills on the police, judges, courts etc etc, like some would, all in, I am somebody who would support much much tougher laws, I also firmly believe calling police filth is a disgrace, the may have some leaders at the top who have lost the plot but the ordinary cop on the street, that is when he can get there without the paperwork and do his job without some lefty social work type trying to stop him is in truth the good guy, like I said it is drug dealers, thives, scroungers, etc etc they are the true filth, destroying the UK and Europe as a whole. It is "common sense" that we require people to enforce the law is it not :D

Any one who believes in law and order must be a copper in your world Microphone, again you are wrong, as for me, no I was never a police officer, so you wrong again mate, and for education, Bobby, Copper and some of the others yes they are fine, but Filth, no that is for low life scum you know Drug Dealers, scroungers, thieves etc but if you happy to support them then you are one of the sad people who have destoroyed a once proud country like the UK. I am happy to say I support the police, and all our services, or is it you have something to hide Microphone or should that be motor mouth.
