Have we solved the Cyprus Problem?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

VP

If the attack happened then obviously the person who did it must be arrested and go through the process of a trial and sentence. The funny thing is that the incident was not mentioned in any news media. The media, apart from RIK, are private and always on the lookout for a good juicy story and scandal. This would have made their day. And the victims, how about a report about them and their damaged car? The report just does not sound credible that is all.

On another note, Kikapu puts it very well when he says that we should all get down to business and the top priority should be the whole of Cyprus. Getting boxed into our separate small little corners is not the way to do it.

You obviously do not know your people to well incidents like this have been supressed before so as not to display the ugly face of GC democracy which we Tcs know exsists and now the EU will learn. Normal people would condem such an act yet you people make excuses this does not make us feel we can trust GCs in anyway shape or form for today it can be this TC family tomorrow it can me or another TC. Excuses fuel suspician and mistrust dont you know this?

Like the Polish who go to the UK and the Spanish who go to France, the offer the labour for cash, if you do not want them you have the right to turn them away but you need cheap labour.

Sick nationalism brought the misery to Cyprus. It cannot be "deleted" overnight. Whole generations need to be educated by enlightened teachers the art of living in a multicultural society. From this point of view the provisions of the Annan Plan were very well thought of.

Nobody made even a faint attempt to answer my question as to why the serious incidence was not reported. Not even by the "Politis" journalists, who were the first to learn about it.

Oh I see! Why should I make it up? It happened just like the unprovoked attack at the English School. We need to put the records straight here though on the English School incidence. The students that run to help the Turkish Cypriot pupils were Greek Cypriots. I am very proud of them but usually in such incidences the nationalists win the day, simply because it is heroic to beat up a Turk, according the conventional wisdom that has been inprinted into our genes for many eons now.

Its the normal human reaction if you dont want to deal with an issue you kill the messenger. What ever happen to the thug who attacked the TC student?

Actually there was a number of them, from different schools. Most of them were sons of prominent members of society. I am not sure what the situation is now?
